"From the very first contact I made with Michael, he demonstrated expert knowledge of structural roofing repair and home improvement projects. He was very professional in his work and interactions with me. As soon as I called him, he spent at least 30 minutes speaking with me concerning his work experience and discussing the project that I was seeking assistance with. He quickly arranged to meet me at the home at a time convenient for me even though it meant close to an hour drive for him on a weekend. He was transparent in his business transactions, fairly estimating the cost of the project and providing documentation of costs. "Mike was very professional and knowledgeable. He came out, surveyed the house and discussed my options and the work to be performed. His proposal was done on-site within about 5 to 10 minutes. After he gave me the proposal, he asked about staining my decks (I was going to do it myself and the materials were sitting on the porch). I advised him I was going to do it after I returned from vacation. He offered to take care of it for me, along with the painting, for no additional charge.
After I received a quote from a competitor (he knew who I had called w/o me telling him), I accepted his quote. Mike was out the next day (Friday) and power-washed the house. He returned the following Monday and painted the house and stained the deck.
While Mike impressed me with his professionalism and quick response - he's got very good customer service skills - I'm a little disappointed in the work due to the fact he didn't scrape and clean up the paint that had chipped away. If I had to do it again, I would make sure this was a part of the deal.
It may be partly my fault for not making it 100% clear this was part of my expectations. However, at the same time, I also feel he could have brought it up as well. For the price he charged, I really can't complain too much, considering he came in $2400.00 below his competitor (who didn't mention painting and scraping either) and the house looks good except for chipped sections.
No matter - i would still use him again - and will.
As a side-note, I found out Mike has other connections for handyman work and I'll more than likely go through him just simply because he's gained my trust.

We called them and asked them to build a custom deck.  He came out and started our deck immediately and added benches and different levels.  He took our design and added to it and made our dream deck better that we could have imagined.

The price was better than we thought it would be.

It was a great experience and we highly recommend them if your looking for a great design and great prices.
