"This is probably THE BEST service I have ever received in my life. I contacted Edwin through a web form after researching online for inground concrete pool installation. Edwin called me the next day (it was Sunday when I filled out the form). Edwin is the owner of this business and is one of the nicest people on earth. Very courteous, polite and above all the consummate professional. We talked about my project and my budget and he came out that day to take a look at our backyard. Within a week, we had a contract and Edwin explained the timeline. the process and everything that would be involved in building a pool. And believe me, there is A LOT involved. It is a huge undertaking and with the right contractor, it can be a breeze but with the wrong contractor it can turn into a nightmare. And that was my fear to begin with. But Edwin simply 'melted' those fears because he is such a professional. His crew, everyone, from Carl (the heavy equipment operator) to Uve (I hope I got his name right - the site manager) to Adam (the electrician) and all the other sub contractors that came to our yard, they were all the consummate professionals. We broke ground in the third week of October (after signing the contract in August - it takes a few weeks for the City of Raleigh to open the permit) and believe me, by New Year Edwin was going to put water in our pool :). We had to slow him down and ask him to push the time line a bit because we simply did not want the start up process to happen during winter, not that there is anything wrong with that. Edwin listened and responded to all of our requests with such care and attention. He was on top of things, he responds to texts and made sure that all of our permitting inspections pass without any issues. If you ever thinking of putting a pool, please, please, please do your diligence and research and make sure to hire the right contractor because the process is so complex and having the right contractor, like Edwin, makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. I would be more than happy to speak with whomever in more detail if they want a reference for Edwin. I can talk hours about our experience with him and it is ALL GOOD. Edwin and his team are probably one of the best contractors in NC when it comes to pools. They know their stuff so well and trust me, THAT IS SOOO IMPORTANT in a project of such magnitude. I am attaching a few pictures of our pool progress and the finished product. we are extremely happy with Edwin, his work, his passion, his commitment, his desire to help and always be helpful, his team and his knowledge. And one last thing, we have had the pool now for almost three year. We are extremely happy and have enjoyed it tremendously and feel like it was the right investment. A couple of times that I had an issue with the app, Edwin was most resourceful and helpful. I feel like I can always go to him and ask for help and he is always ready to help. "Our experience What a nightmare This company was to deal with. Every step had issues from the wrong shape of the pool to the driveway that was majorly damaged and not fixed. They brought dirt in with broken glass and garbage in. We had to physically pick up the glass and trash so we could have the new sod. They left 6 feet of dirt in the yard that was starting to slide in the water. The project manager said that he wasn’t a project manager, so dealing with him was horrible. He was so rude all the time. He had no idea of what was happening. The workers would ask my husband what they were supposed to do and luckily he could communicate in Spanish. We managed the workers ourselves. What a nightmare and not worth it."

"The Shade Tree is owned by a semi-retired couple who open their shop for limited hours of Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Hours are from Noon or 12:30 PM to 4 or 4:30 PM. Owners are very friendly and easy to work with, but call before going to their shop. It is also advisable to leave a voice mail message."

"I contracted LLS for a backyard redesign, as I was not really using the space as envisioned due to several challenges. After a conversation outlining my challenges and goals, I expected that LLS would provide experienced design solutions and incorporate them in a drawing. This was my previous experience with other landscape designers. LLS was initially responsive to my input and listened to what I was trying to achieve. Ultimately, I received a simple draft design that did not address my backyard issues. To make additional changes and incorporate solutions to those issues, I needed to pay for another two hours of design time. Although the original design was not complicated, I agreed since I did not explicitly detail every item and was initially depending on their experience to help me. I eventually received the design about 8 weeks later, but ultimately it was just LLS transcribing my requests into a CAD drawing without much actual "design" work. I didn't really have any need for that service, since I could draw something similar myself for the purposes of HOA approval, and every other contractor I spoke with included design in the cost of their installs. LLS couldn't or wouldn't quote the actual install without me paying for a detailed, scale drawing to use for the quote. To modify the 2D design from a pergola to a screened porch was going to require as much as $2,500 worth of additional design costs. Ultimately, I paid for 6 hours of design time for a simple drawing that an experienced professional should have been able to do in much less time. The cost was significantly more than I paid for a previous design, with significantly fewer details and input from the designer. If you are looking for design work, I would recommend finding a dedicated, experienced designer who doesn't do other work."
