"Brandyn was great!  It was easy to set up the appointment.  He came on time.  The job took about 3 hours.  My 2008 never detailed van looks fantastic.  So nice to get rid of the crumbs and muck my two kids have left on the floor and in the cracks over the years.  Feels so good to drive!

"To start off with, I had absolutely no issues getting an appointment time or with Encore showing up on time and getting the actual job done. And, they DID do a good job overall (minus leaving an odor behind that was not in my house before - I suppose I expected that cleaning the hard woods would leave behind a pleasant smell instead but that was not the case). However, my issues came with how I was dealt with over the phone. The manager ultimately recommended that I get my floors completely refinished rather than a simple clean after he came out for a quote, which I appreciated. However, I still went with the simple clean at the time (due to budgeting). After I made that decision, the manager made it sound as if he was doing me a favor by only performing the cleaning, rather than just simply agreeing to the job. On top of that, he complained several times over the phone about how we wasn't necessarily making much money on this job because of the type of cleaning I requested, and also claimed that my Angie's List credit was going to be reflected in his vague discount (even after which ended up at just over $400 for 1000 sqft. of cleaning, which seemed high to me). I'd consider hiring Encore again for the good end result, but wouldn't necessarily look forward to dealing with them over the phone moving forward."

"I called several times and left a message with some details of the area I was needed to have cleaned and how I could be reached. I did not get a call back for several months. We were wanting the carpets cleaned within a certain time-frame and that had passed. It was to close to the winter months; I was trying to get the floors cleaned in the spring to early summer. I'm disabled and needed help getting the rooms ready prior to having them cleaned. I had four of my sons available earlier in the year but not when they returned my calls. The person who called what polite and very apologetic however, I could not use their service at that time."

Cliff is a sole operator, and as such, he takes great care in his work and how he conducts himself.  First, Cliff went out of his way to communicate with both myself and my wife, even calling my wife to let her know that he had connected with me and therefore she didn?t have to follow up with another call.

When he came out to look at correcting the color of the grout (the other company had left it far too white ? see my other reviews), he once again took his time and mixed several solutions to give us options. We went back and forth between, ?Can you make it just a bit grayer?? etc., and he patiently went through several variations until we found one that was just right.  His bid of $370 was less than the $450 bid we received from another company, so we went with Cliff.

Cliff came the next week as he said he would and even called several days prior to confirm.  He arrived on time, and was exceptionally neat with his tools and supplies in our master bathroom.  He brought a drop cloth and laid everything out in an very orderly fashion.  Cliff worked meticulously to match the color sample from the week before, and the job turned out amazingly well.

We not only recommend Cliff, but will use him for other things he does, like hard surface cleaning & restoration, natural stone polishing & sealing, etc.  If you need custom tile work or grout work done, Cliff is your man.

"It went very well. I had scheduled a 2 hour appointment. They had back to back appointments so could not extend the time. While they were here they cleaned 3.5 bathrooms, mopped floors, vacuumed carpets, cleaned ceiling fans, plantation shutters, and a cat room (one of the bathrooms but major dirty). I am in a townhouse with 3 floors so there is a lot of ground to cover. They did an excellent job and I intend to use their services again."
