Professional removal of old carpet and replacement with new carpet.
They coordinated with a carpet dealer in Charlotte who helped us select the right colors, style prior to our move.
They did great work.

I went to Bell's Carpet looking for some new carpet for a well trafficked room of my home.  The associate who assisted me, Brenda, was very knowledgeable and patient (I had never purchased carpet before).  I decided on the carpet, Brenda came out and measured the area to be carpeted to give me a final price, I paid a 50% deposit, and the carpet was ordered.  The carpet arrived in approximately 2 weeks, and the installation was scheduled for 3 weeks.  The installers came and installed the carpet in one afternoon, and they finished clean-up to my satisfaction before they left.

My salesperson was Fred, he was very helpful with my selections in the showroom.
Mike was the installer for the Vinyl tile in my kitchen, he laid the tile with grout lines and said he would come back the next day to grout the tiles. Before he left, he grouted the tile under the appliances and in the washer dryer area. I loved the floor, but when I saw the grout color (Color that I agreed to) I hated it. It reminded me of a public restroom. When Mike cam back the next morning, I asked him if I could change the grout color. He was so good about it and was very willing to take up the grout he put in the day before.
 I called Fred to tell him the news. He was at my house with another grout color within 15-20 min, again I agreed to it after looking at the color online. The color on the front and even the color of the grout itself looked good. Fred left and Mike started grouting. Again I hated it, the color against the tile was too light. I called Fred again and he checked to see what else he had in stock. This time I offered to come to the store to pick up my third choice. Fred gave me another 2 options. One of them was perfect and I am now very happy with my floor.
The carpet installers did a wonderful job, the job was done quickly and professionally.
I will use Bell's for my next carpet or tile project and try to get the grout color right the first time.

Very nice and professional.  We initially had sticker shock and shopped around, then came back realizing they were consistently priced and service was better.

It wasn't the best experience. It was the first time that we were buying carpet, and we didn't know about it. The sales associate was not too helpful. She didn't let us know what we should be looking for, and we had to do our own research. I felt like the sales associate should be telling us about it. The installation part was okay, they took a little longer than expected, but they didn't have all the material when they came to install it, and he said that he would come back a week later to finish it. I volunteered to go to the hardware store, and get the material for him, so that he could finish it that day, as I didn't want to wait another week for him.

He is a very detailed installer and did a beautiful job with the vinyl we had chosen for kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a utility room/pantry.  We also enjoyed the Angie's List discount we received from Bell's Carpet.  We would not hesitate to recommend Bell's Carpet and Chris to everyone.

Sales person wasn't very helpful. We had to ask a lot of questions to get her to talk otherwise she would have said nothing. Install went horrible the guys didn't bring the right materials, so I had to go out to Lowe's which is 25mins away and buy the right materials for them to finish the job. On the second floor they totally destroyed our screen when taking it out, in order to throw the carpet out. They didn't even say anything to me about it. I found a mangled up screen in my closet the next day! After bringing my complaint to Bells they offered to take 100 dollars off my 9000 dollar purchase, which pretty much paid for the new screen and the materials I had bought from Lowes.

Bells Carpet was highly rated so I contacted them for help. I received a very prompt response and quote and they were out to my place before I could imagine. Very pleased with my experience.

From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience. I arrived at Bell's after being frustrated at a big box store where my questions were only answered with little knowledge. I knew I wanted a specific carpet brand after doing a lot of research for the best stain resistant good quality carpet. But I was schooled by Fred on  pile size, whereas the samples from the big box store made me think they were plusher. He was so knowledgable, helpful, patient ( I was back and forth choosing a color). The installer was great, very professional and did a top notch job.

We had a great experience working with Fred Gaines at the showroom. He was patient and showed us several options that would fit our house and our budget, then told us about a generous deal for angie's list members!
We had them install the carpet and chose to install the flooring ourselves.
Bells uses high-quality eco-friendly materials and their staff is friendly and professional. We spent a little more than we expected initially, but we are glad we did for the value that we got from Bells.

Bell's Carpet, and particularly Fred, one of the sales persons went through the entire process with us, from showing us options at the show room, to coming to our house to measure, and then coordinating the entire installation.  He ordered the stock for us and performed the services ahead of schedule.  Also, when there was an issue (a staple sticking out of the wood foyer), I called him and he had someone take care of it immediately.  Wouldn't hesitate to do business with Bell's again.

The salesperson did an excellent job seeing to customer satisfaction. The installation crew was courteous and professional. When asked to come back and re-do the carpet install on the stairs there was no problem and the installation foreman agreed that the job should be re-done. We are very satisfied with our new carpeting and the look is great!

They were very helpful in coming out and measuring.  I was pretty satisfied with them.  No major complaints.

It turned out great. I have no complaints whatsoever. They did a really good job. When they installed it they painted some of the moldings along the floor and did a really nice job. They cleaned up when they were finished.

I had some problems with the vinyl floor because it started to buckle after a while. I called them and they had the contractor come back and they completely redid it so I had no final complaints about it. The price was adequate.  The quality of the work turned out to be good.Overall it was quite professional. I would use them again.

Have purchased from Bell's before and would do so again.  Sales person was on time for appt for measuring and quote.  Installers were likewise on time, seemed very skilled, were in and out in 1 day.  Price I have indicated is overstated but I don't recall what it was and app would not let me procede without entering something (bad Angie).

We drove to Bell's Carpets in Raleigh on a Saturday and met with the in-store representative. He immediately showed us the most expensive carpeting. However, when we gave him our budget he not only showed us carpeting within our price range, he showed us the back room that stores the carpeting remnants from other jobs or no-longer-in-style carpeting. This was a huge savings for us since we did select one from the back room.
The first representative did not seem be very personable (example, mentioned that we would have to pay extra if he came to our house to provide an estimate because he lives so far from us) so we left.
We wanted to get the project going so we went back in and talked with another gentleman who seemed more professional. He worked up the numbers for us and made an appointment to measure our rooms for a thorough estimate.
He gave us a quick turnaround date for the installation.
The installers arrived on time. They immediately got to work and worked efficiently. When finished, they asked us to approve of the job. I tried telling them that the carpeting in one of the rooms was lumpy under my stocking feet. They had a hard time understanding because they did not speak English. I finally got through to them and they were going to pull up all the carpeting. Since the carpet in this room was special order, I said no.  So, it is still lumpy under out feet in some spots.
Otherwise we love our carpeting.
