"A contractor was to show up at 7 am but he was at our house by 6:45. He was ready to work, happy with the materials I had picked up from the hardware store, and went right to it. He pulled off all the siding on that part of the house (about 6' high), put up the backing board, reattached it, and applied caulk where it joined the roofline. He was done in about 3 hours. Our coupon was for 4 hours of work, which was the initial estimate but I didn't have anything else for him to do - he was a siding specialist and it showed in his efficiency and the quality of his work. Afterwards I inspected the job and it looked very good, much better than I could have done and in much less time. Every time we hire J.P. Frisch, we're reminded why we call the professionals to handle things like this."

"The home we purchased just over 2 months ago had an unfinished basement that we saw great potential in.  The master bathroom also had a leak behind the wall.  Bruce came in and talked to us in great length about what exactly we were looking for.  We talked about what parts of the project we could do ourselves to save money and what we thought a professional should do, and he worked with our timeline of when we were able to get things done.  The leak was repaired in the bathroom, as well as we had a new vanity and toilet installed and painting done.  The basement was the big job!  We had lighting installed, framing and drywall done, new windows installed, new carpet, and a new hot water heater along the way (that one was a surprise).  Bruce even helped us install new appliances when they arrived for our kitchen.  No matter what came up Bruce and his crew were there to help!  The project is finished and we are enjoying that wonderful space we saw potential in.  It also makes us feel proud that we were able to put hard work into some of it ourselves.  We will definitely call Bruce in the future for any projects, great or small!

"My AC stopped working a few days ago and Rhymes is the third AC repair company I hired. The first company didn't have the part, the second company wants us to change the zoning system. Neither of them took the time to look at both the outside unit and the inside panel. Steve from Rhymes showed up on time, he took the time trouble shooting my zoning panel and checked each part of the system. He is very diligent and paid attention to details. He changed a part and made the system working again. We didn't have to change the whole thing. He is honest and experienced. I would hire him again."

"Absolutely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship of the finished job after a total gut of master bath. Romine Contractors made helpful suggestions for quality materials for the shower wall, shower doors and basin. They used a subcontractor for the tile floor. Thrilled with the quality of workmanship. They listened to my ideas and politely made helpful, alternative suggestions. They arrived on time, left by dinner time and each day cleaned the work area within reasonable means and didn’t leave their tools laying out. I could trust them to let themselves in the house with my house key since I had to work. They completed the job in the time frame they predicted despite finding unforeseen problems. They were not the least expensive bid but they were reasonable for the excellent quality of work they performed. When they discovered a section of the cast iron pipe that needed replacing they adjusted the estimate with what I thought was a reasonable increase given the work that was necessary."

"Over the past ten years GA Chott has done renovations on my kitchen, my master bath and most recently, this basement project. I don't even bother to get bids from anyone else. They’re that good, in my opinion. I had a totally unfinished basement, and now I have a beautiful finished media room and a sparkling laundry area nearby. They framed in the theatre room, joined the drywall with the concrete walls, trimmed out to look more seamless. Built soffits for HVAC ductwork and vents. Dropped ceiling with recessed dimmable wafer lights. Installed new light switches and electric outlets. The door to the media room was situated to provide a straight path from the laundry area thru the media room to the staircase. The room, the large stairway, and the landing were all carpeted with nice thick padding underneath. Wonderful underfoot. (They only use high quality materials.) The staircase walls and ceilings were painted. The unfinished part has a bathroom that they refurbished with new shower heads, grab bars, electric outlet, and rough part of wall skim coated. All doors were painted. All walls, built in cabinetry and workbench were painted. The floors were painted - which involved moving the washer, dryer, heavy workbench, storage cabinet, exercise equipment, etc. etc. and then moving it all back again. They even helped me to remove and/or give away some items I no longer needed. My brand new big screen tv was mounted on the wall. Then... it quit working. Darryll went above and beyond: he came out and dismantled it, loaded it for return and then mounted the replacement. Which reminds me - any time there is a problem or concern of any kind, they are super responsive and quick to take care of it. The work crew is extremely considerate and a pleasure to have in your home. I happen to be a retired lady so I was mostly present, but I would not hesitate to leave them unattended. I enjoy this renovation every day. It adds a whole new dimension to my home.
