Mosby did a residential project about a year ago for us. Everything went well and Mosby was professional and courteous. Now there is a complication, and I am getting stonewalled with zero discussion of responsibility. After this, I would not use them again. They are not the cheapest; I expected better

It went very well. Everybody showed up on time and was there everyday. They cleaned up each day and insured that dust did not get through all the rooms while they were working. They responded to any of out concerns and immediately fixed any problems we had. Although there were not problems so much as an understanding what was being done. This is the second time I have had Mosby do major work in my house. About eight years ago I had the laundry room moved to the first floor and wood flooring put in the living and family rooms so I was aware of the quality of their work.

The project took about two months. There were no gaps in the work. We were always very happy with all the different crew persons and the progress. All were very nice and very professional. We never felt uncomfortable in our own home and even took a two-week vacation while the job was being done. Our general foreman, Steve treated our home like his own and made the job run seamlessly. We typically are not comfortable with leaving our home and belongings in the hands of others but Steve truly earned our respect and trust. He even questioned individuals who came to use our pool while we were on vacation. He also made sure that any mess from the day's work was cleaned. Really couldn't have asked for a more thorough and professional team. We were also contacted multiple times during the process by the Mosby office to ask if things were going well and if we had any concerns. (Other businesses should really take note of this.) This job was not at all a typical kitchen remodel. It involved three living areas and the results are perfect. Design team was great. It looks as if our home was originally built this way. In fact, it looks much better than the original plan. We couldn't be more pleased with the work and the Mosby team, from start to finish. We have done major renovations in past homes so we are not new to the process. We learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for, and we would recommend Mosby 100%.

Mosby solved some sticky floor system issues in our 1924-built home. They then went on to design and install fit and finish in a bathroom remodel that we had started ourselves (50/50 gut/rehab). They were happy to install fixtures we had purchased and offered solutions and options for bringing the main floor bath to a great completion. Jake did a great job specing-out the job, liaison between us and the designers and site crew, and following up afterwards. Mosby isn't the cheapest, but they are among the most competent. You pay for the experience and team assets they bring to the job. Frankly, I'd rather pay up front and be done, than continue to pay over and over again because I went with the lowest bid.

Mosby removed the attic fan and control box on the wall, patched the ceiling and wall and repainted the hallway and wall. They also modified the solid wood soffit so that it opened to the attic for proper ventilation and replaced the soffit covers with new material. They installed additional attic vents along the roof where there was no overhand. They blocked off openings in the small gable on the roof peak so that the ridge vent on the gable would function properly. Mosby staff did a great job, and took the time to tell me what they saw and explain how things should work. They confirmed that I didn't have any water damage or wood rot in the soffit and that all the structures were sound. They did a great job on exterior cleanup - I hardly knew they had been working around my house for three days. The interior work on the attic fan removal was fantastic, and they were able to closely match the existing wall texture when they painted so that there is hardly any difference to notice. The attic fan removal and ceiling patching could have left me with a lot of cleanup in the hall, bathroom and bedrooms, but Mosby staff was so diligent about blocking entryways, protecting the floors and cleaning up that, again, I hardly knew they had been there. And I started noticing a difference in the interior temperature and comfort of my home immediately, especially with the attic fan removed. And the hall looks better, too!
Mosby is more expensive than other contractors I spoke with, but I chose them the second time because of their service and work quality. This is the second job I had them do for me and I will definitely contact them again if I need anything else. The price premium is well worth the quality of the work, customer service and follow-up by Mosby staff, including office personnell.

Mosby was recommended to me by another contractor and I had them come out to look at repairing a porch roof and gutters to correct improper water drainage on my patio that was threatening to compromise the foundation. They made good suggestions and came to do the work on 7/17/15. I am very happy with the quality of the work, the results and their professionalism. The project manager came out after the work was done to inspect, go over it with me and make sure I was satisfied before billing me the final amount due. I am having them come back for estimates for two more jobs I want to do. They may be slightly more expensive than other vendors, but they provide a complete circle of customer care and follow-up and since that is very important to me, I am glad to pay for it. I'm very happy to have found them.

Went went overall. The moton sensor on front motion light didn''t work right away but they came back the very next day to see that it was working properly before they left again. All good.

Our initial remodel was completed by a dishonest, lazy contractor. We were nervous about bringing any other contractors into our home after such an awful experience.
Mosby completely changed our view of contractors. The folks from Mosby are ALWAYS on time-in fact early, the quality of their work is amazing. They would take the time to make suggestions on repairs based on what they experienced. Steve was the lead on our job and was always pleasant, kind an focused. The level of craftsmanship & the quality of the work Steve expects from himself and anyone on his team is admirable. Any contractor that represented Mosby was courteous, had a great brand image, was timely and obviously loving what they did for a living. Mosby was in our home for a short time (5 weeks) and never once did they leave a mess, or create any hardship on our family. Actually, the Mosby team cleans up after themselves and left our home cleaner than our cleaning lady. We will NEVER use another company for our home. ANY updates, remodel etc will be handled through Mosby
I hope this review saves some folks the heartache we experienced by not using Mosby first.

Installers were professional and really nice to talk to. They explained everything they were going to do each day. My only problem is I wish I had stopped them before they installed my basement (typical little) windows. I would have had them put the loc on the bottom of the window instead of the top. I cannot reach them. Other than that they came back and painted wood grams and made everything perfect.

Mosby was professional and on time. Mosby had it's own employees come out and do the work, no subcontractors! They found the problem and sent the owner out to take a look at the entire project. I would defiantly use Mosby again in the future!

There was a lot of interaction sharing photos of what I saw and was thinking and then some sketched ideas back and forth. When finally met to review initial plans and costs, Mosby's had broken the project down into many separate pieces and projected costs that way. I was so astounded at the total projected cost that I never bothered to call back. It seemed ridiculously expensive to me. I had already had three other estimates, one without a sketch, two with sketched out ideas, which were half the cost of Mosby's. I admit I didn't call back and try to negotiate the price and perhaps they would have come down, but I couldn't imagine they'd drop 50%. I've tried Mosby's twice now, and they are expensive. They need to do a better job of explaining their process of "consultation", vs. "design" and then build and how they price things. Maybe they provide higher quality turn-key projects than others but I haven't been able to get beyond the sticker shock of the initial encounters.
