The door came in on time and was installed in less than a week of original estimate. We love the door's curb appeal and it is so much nicer than our original door. Lowe's contracts the installation and the company is very polite/professional.

I do my own planting each spring.  I selected the dirt, mulch, plants, herbs, etc.  This year while looking at the plants, one employee approached me to help ensure that what I was selecting would be best for the area I was planting.  That was a first!  At the register I asked for the type and amount of mulch I needed. The cashier mentioned that the selection I was making was on sales and the price was better with 4 bags instead of 3.  It turns out it was a good thing she mentioned it because I had to return for even more mulch.

The very dy 1st frig was received back, Matt?? mailed refund/credit  proof back 2 me.  I ended up paying 37% more 4 second frig but, due 2 size requirement, my selection was limited.  Last wk finally received credit 4 1st frig. I was also allowed 2 keep frig # 1 during this exchange time.

Lowe's Of Ballwin is great. When we picked out everything, we actually had gone somewhere else first and had been kind of snubbed by the people there. When we got to Lowe's, they gave us an estimate in about 40 minutes. We called her back later and told her we were going to go with it. She offered a feature that wasn't in our plans but she was able to add it in. The subcontractor to put in the countertops didn't show up the first time and it took almost two weeks to get a new one to come in. The total process ended up taking 7 or 8 weeks, which was more than what we were anticipating, given what we had been told. We also had to take an extra day off for work for it. On the Lowe's side, we were happy with what they did. We were annoyed with the contractors though. That process didn't go as smoothly as we had hoped.

Lowe's OF Ballwin did a good job. I worked with John and kitchen cabinets and he was fantastic. They always answered my questions and if I had a difficulty which I did a time or two, they handled it to my satisfaction. They hired a contractor to get the work done and they were responsive to my questions.

Rug was laid.  I had one issue with a step or two which was quickly resolved.

We had some problems with their carpet laying as it rippled. We took everything up in the living room and dining room and put down wood. However, we still have one in the bedroom that looks like the ocean. We have been putting up with it for at least over a year now. We thought that their carpet was good but the people that did the work were questionable. They failed in their carpet laying. Their price is good and it is the one reason that we go there. They give good prices and they have good products. We got the better carpeting. Their professionalism was very good and their punctuality was okay. They did not give us any help at all with the rippled carpet. If we wanted to have it to be re-done then it would be at our expense. We would work with them in the future depending on what it is that we would be getting.

I was completely satisfied with their great service and follow up.  I didn't get an upper end product so it was about what I expected.  The workers were good.  They were no complication with whoever they contracted out to but they were good.  They were courteous and on time.  The carpet is not been in that long but it is about what was expected.  They were very good all the way round.  The carpet wasn't a high quality carpet but we kept within our budget for what we needed.  It suffices the purpose so far and I don't know how long it will last.

I needed to replace a patio door in a 1 - 2 week time frame.  All the Window and Door companies were quoting a 4 - 8 week time frame - and they all wanted to sell me a custom door - even those companies that have "standard" doors in stock at the local hardware store. With the idea that local hardware stores have doors in stock, and since we had a 10% off coupon for Lowes - we checked out our local Lowes.  They had standard french patio doors in stock.  They had an installation service.  Within a day - the installer called me to arrange to come measure the doors and figure out materials.  It was done on my schedule, after work.  Within 24 hours of that - Lowes had called me back to tell me the estimate was in. My husband and I went to Lowes that evening, picked out the exact door, reviewed and approved the estimate for the install. With 48 hours, the install company had called us up and scheduled the install that next week.  Lowes called us before and after the install to make sure of the arrangements and ensure our satisfaction. The online review of the door we selected were "ok" but sometimes had issues with gaps and weatherstripping.  Our door had no such issue.  The installer was a pro - made sure there was even clearance all the way around the door, it was level and true, open/shut easily etc...  End of story - we have a door installed in 1.5 weeks instead of 4-8, and at half the cost of what the door companies were offering.

Lowes called several times to follow up during our carpet selection process, also after work was performed & later after a small problem was resolved. The people in the carpeting department were very responsive to our needs and questions. Very impressed and Im pretty picky!

It is a good place to buy stuff, but not have to have them do complicated work with them. We contracted with them to install a new shower stall I our master bathroom. Eighth weeks after we signed and paid for the work with a $1400 job, we received a phone call from them saying that the order was messed up by the contractor and the stall did not get built. It would take at least another 4-6 to have it built and they apologized, but they did not get it done. I cancelled my order and they were very good at crediting my account immediately. I would purchase anything from them, but I would never contract with them.

It was a disaster. We purchased them in March 2008 and the installer has come out once a month for the past eight months to correct different problems and it still has not been solved. It has been problems with the manufacturer and problems with Lowe's and the installer.

Everything went well until the carpet came in damaged. Lowe's recognized the problem, and did not install the damaged carpet. Gail, in the Install Sales Department, worked hard and secured new carpeting in a timely fashion, and they replaced over half of the new carpet with an upgrade. Thanks to Gail's hard work, we had the new carpet installed within the week. The installers did a good job, and the carpeting looks great.

The project went well from start to finish. The installers were true craftsmen and did an outstanding job. They were very professional, and also did a great job cleaning up! The Customer Care department at Lowe's was with us every step of the way. Gail was especially great to work with. We felt that they truly valued our business and wanted us to be satisfied customers. The kitchen turned out beautifully!

The special order window arrived in a reasonable amount of time, about two weeks. Lowe's engaged Lukas Construction as a subcontractor to handle the installation. The tech who took measurements before the special order arrived as promised, was prompt and efficient and behaved in a friendly and professional manner. The installers (2) arrived as promised, worked hard, and conducted themselves in a friendly and professional manner.

This was not a good experience. They did a lousy job paying any attention to detail. Edges of the trim were not straight and not measured correctly. I am not happy, because I paid a lot to have this work done, and it wasn't quality. I do not recommend them to anyone else.

I felt like I received excellent customer service from Lowe's both in the sales process and in the installation process. The sales department was professional and kept my needs in mind when recommending the fixture and the person who installed the faucet was polite and neat and easy to deal with.
