"Absolutely satisfied with the quality and craftsmanship of the finished job after a total gut of master bath. Romine Contractors made helpful suggestions for quality materials for the shower wall, shower doors and basin. They used a subcontractor for the tile floor. Thrilled with the quality of workmanship. They listened to my ideas and politely made helpful, alternative suggestions. They arrived on time, left by dinner time and each day cleaned the work area within reasonable means and didn’t leave their tools laying out. I could trust them to let themselves in the house with my house key since I had to work. They completed the job in the time frame they predicted despite finding unforeseen problems. They were not the least expensive bid but they were reasonable for the excellent quality of work they performed. When they discovered a section of the cast iron pipe that needed replacing they adjusted the estimate with what I thought was a reasonable increase given the work that was necessary."

"Overall the project went well, and we have a beautiful finished basement that we use for combine office / family space. They were very accommodating of changes in scope along the way, all while getting things complete on schedule. They were able to frame in around everything, keeping things as tight as possible to maximize the space, were able to have a plumber on site same day to move some piping when mine fell through, they sub contracted the electrical work. The project was not without bumps / changes, and no project of this size is (i assume). I think some of the problems could have been avoided with better communications and setting of expectations during the project, on both my part and theirs. At the end of the day, the basement looks great and we enjoy every moment down there. I would hire them again for my next project (and plan to)!"

They were able to do the work requested, and also offered to redo the furance installation as the previous company installed it right on the basement floor where any backup/water could possibly get into the system. They were very prompt and showed up on time/on schedule. They were very upfront about costs and pricing and there were no last-minute price changes or hidden fees, which I appreciate. Work was done well and they ensured that everything worked before leaving the job site. The gentlemen working were very professional and understanding.
