He also quickly picked up that I understand some about handywork and he engaged me in that conversation--never speaking down to me. Jerry sent Dave, the handyman, to do the job and he was meticulous and efficient. He fixed the trim as if it was his own house--with great pride--which I knew he would since he had taken the same care with my neighbor's garage trim. He went above and beyond, even filling in off-color fill holes around the trim to make it all blend and look fresh. He was timely, neat, friendly. and did a great job. My dad used to by my handy man. It was a difficult and complicated job, as the house had non-standard sizes for things and has shifted and moved as all old homes do, but Ben patiently worked it all out, and now we have two beautiful, well-fitted, secure and weatherproof doors on our home. "Since we bought our house in March, we have dealt with many contractors. Jose & Angela are by far the most professional and honest among all of them. They took care of a drywall+door installation and a bathroom fan replacement. Among the 4 contractors we contacted for this, they were the only ones showing up in person to provide a quote. The others only asked for pictures to provide quotes. The quote from Jose & Angela was very reasonable. A couple of times, the project required some extra costs due to the specifics of the door and the fan we purchased. Jose was very transparent in motivating the additional costs and quickly updated our contract both times. At each step, we knew what we were paying for and why. The final job was absolutely high quality. Moreover, Jose and his team did all they could to minimize the impact of dust, etc, on the rest of the house. They will certainly be our first choice for any future work on the house that falls within their expertise."
