I've been trying to get this work done since signing the contract in March 2025. They started out strong but then disappeared without any of the done contracted work done. They only sent 1 person for a day in June and 1 person on Sept 1 and they haven't answered any phone calls or responded to texts since Sept 2. I really just want the project done. I've paid thousands and it's all incomplete. It's so frustrating that I'm now trying to find them on online. If they finally finish the work I might revise this review but right now I've paid so much money and they don't respond to phone calls or texts or emails. I feel really stuck with a partially done project in bathroom and partially done project installing a new basement ceiling. Since i haven't gotten any response app month I'm trying to find them online

I hired Mudslingers to fix a bathroom ceiling after a plumber had to cut a hole above the shower. I found Mudslingers on Angi's List. Troy was one of the first to respond on Angi's. His follow through and responsiveness were second to none. My situation was a tricky one requiring several approvals for the work, the price and the date in which the work could be done. Troy was so patient, thoughtful and flexible through the entire process. Once I could give him the green light, the work was done above and beyond expectations and completed to meet my demanding deadline. I would highly recommend Troy and the Mudslinger team!

Troy and his team were professional and got the job done right. His fees were reasonable, and the service was top notch. After he finished the mold remediation, I hired him again to paint the basement floor and again to demo the kitchen. We have a big project going on and I will likely hire him again. It went like it always does, as easy as you could ask it to go, and with all the work terrific. I am terribly not handy and I hate dealing with fixing things or handy work in the worst way, which is why it is an enormous relief to have Troy’s number in my phone, who will get it handled, and quickly, and if some little thing went wrong, he’ll get that handled even quicker. We tried to do the work ourselves in places this time to save money, but their quotes are reasonable enough we gave up on most of them and just had the company handle it. Our go-to resource for like 95% of house problems, they’re the best.

It’s always a challenge knowing where to look when you need help on a home remodeling project. We just put up sheetrock in our basement and were looking for someone to mud and tape it as well as texture the ceiling. We looked at Craigslist and reached out to a few local businesses. It can be overwhelming. A friend of ours recommended that we contact Mudslingers Drywall. They came out to our house quickly, were very knowledgeable, answered any questions, and their pricing was very competitive. We quickly felt like they were the best fit for our project and at no time did we feel pressured to go with them. They did a tremendous job. They finished the project on time, their crew was very friendly, and there were no surprises or additional costs at the end. They covered the floors when working and there was no mess for us to cleanup afterwards. We will definitely use Mudslingers again for any additional projects moving forward and would highly recommend them.

Terrible. The contractor walked away from the project leaving both myself and the subs hanging. Refused to return calls. Refused to refund deposits paid. I would never recommend this contractor to anyone in the future and strongly recommend no one hire this firm and also that they lose their contractors license.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had with an Angi Service. I heard from the company quickly and was able to confirm the service needed and it was scheduled within a business week. Since it was water damage I was so thankful to get it fixed. You will also get an invoice to help with insurance. The techs who showed up went right to work and it was all done in half a day with a pristine clean up. Until the next storm of the century brings on another six inches of rain. Thank you Troy!

I needed a contractor to work on my basement project. I received several quotes. Most of them I waited days before getting a response and then weeks to get the quote. Troy responded immediately and we had a date on the calendar for the same week for him to look at the project. He sent me the quote by the end of the day. His professionalism was the reason I hired him. I wasn't disappointed as the project went exactly as he promised. His crew was on time, hard-working, polite, professional and clearly had a strong work ethic because they did an amazing job! I would recommend Mudslingers to anyone that is looking for a reliable contractor that does great work!

I dont even know where to start but whatever you do DO NOT hire this company! I have never written a bad review in my life but I was completely burned by Troy and his team. I hired them 1 year ago to finish a room and a hall way with in addition to install 3 new doors. Every part of the process was done poorly and incorrectly. The doors were crooked, and installed with only 2" brad nails with nothing more to support the door! The drywall tape was filled with bubbles and was peeling up in several spots. they didnt bother to take outlet face plates off they just cut the drywall holes around them leaving 1/2" gaps around them!! They threw away my antique vent covers. The worst part of all of this was the fact that they cracked and entire wall of tile in my bathroom, a room they didnt even do work in! Initially they offered to repair the bathroom at a discounted rate. Given I had no other options, I agreed and we signed a contract for the work to be done mid last summer. When the time came they were a no show. On top of that they didnt respond to my emails, calls or texts. During the first estimate Troy boasted about how honest and responsive they were. Dont be fooled by this crook! What a disappointing experience.

Mudslingers is the embodiment of renovation nightmare. They are by far the worst contractor experience of our entire renovation. Both my electrician and painter commented on the amateur quality of the work despite Mudslingers specifying level 4 quality in their contract. Not only did the owner / general contractor / project manager never show up during construction, but the drywall crew didn’t speak a word of English.

I contacted Mudslingers for some work on our building. Troy not only responded quickly, but kept me informed about the project the entire time. It was done in a very timely manner and the quality and professionalism of the job was outstanding. I have since had them do another project for me and have referred him to others. I heard about Mudslingers through a friend who owns a remodeling company and was one of many companies I received a quote from. I needed our walls mudded, taped, and sanded. I have been general contracting the building of my own home and have been working with many contractors and have communicated with so many I lost count just getting estimates from. Troy has been one of the most responsive out of any contractor I’ve worked with. When I needed a form signed by him for our bank, he emailed it back to me almost immediately. I couldn’t believe it. He’s the only contractor to actually send me a schedule of when they were going to be out working and what they would be doing each day. The pricing is very reasonable and the crew did a great job. I get compliments on their work from other contractors. Troy has gone above and beyond to make sure everything is right and anything that makes building your own home easier is a relief.
