SHEARS TUCKPOINTING

Mason was super easy to work with, fast, and was able to successfully fix both the hole in our foundation around a window where previous demo work had caused damage and some incomplete tuckpointing for our chimney. The work was not structural, mostly fixing cracks and/or holes related to the exterior.

It went better than I dared hope. Roger answered the phone the first time I called and was very pleasant to deal with. I was able to send him a couple of pictures the inspector had taken and from those pictures Roger was able to give me an estimate. The work was done on time and to perfection. I am not living in that home right now, so Roger just emailed me after the work was complete, and sent pictures of the completed repair. Also in his email he gave me the address where I should send payment. Very pleasant experience!

Roger Shears and his son repaired an area of deteriorating brickwork on the front of our house. One challenge of the project was blending the existing bricks with the new restoration. The work was thoroughly explained each day and the results look great; they were professional, friendly, and courteous. The work area was kept clean throughout the project.  Roger treated us as though we were neighbors and not just clients. We would definitely hire them again.

The job was more tedious than expected.  Not only did they finish the repairs, then protected all my plants who survived--amazing.  They're polite, hardworkding, punctual and did a great job of protecting what was around the foundation and cleaning up.

Excellent service, excellent communication, and excellent results.  Clean-up was immaculate.   Will be using them again for another masonry job.

He does such great work. There was no residue, and you would not have known I had someone working. He did not hurry. He cleaned up after himself. He only had one fellow helping him that would help him get the buckets of cement. I am so pleased, and it was an odd shaped chimney.

ROGER WAS EXCELLENT IN HIS CONSULTATION, PROMPT WHEN HE SAID HE WAS SHOWING UP, AND IN HIS WORK. HIS PRICES WERE HIGHER TOWARD THE END OF THE SUMMER THAN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SUMMER, BUT HE WAS VERY HONEST ABOUT THAT UP FRONT.

ROGER VISITED TWICE BEFORE ACTUAL WORK BEGAN TO MAKE CERTAIN I UNDERSTOOD WHAT THE WORK INVOLVED AND TO SELECT GROUT COLOR. THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN 3 DAYS WITH CLEANED BRICKS AND STONE AND THE SITE WAS LEFT CLEAN. WHILE MUCH FRONT ENTRY WORK IS YET TO BE COMPLETED (NEW DOOR, HOUSE NUMBERS, ETC.), MY HOME ALREADY LOOKS MORE INVITING. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND SHEARS TUCKPOINTING.
