Had an appointment with another company who cancelled me day of service- called Hoffman at 10Am, they had a technician here by 230pm- Dean the technician identified the problem with low refrigerant, was able to fix the problem and saved me from having a hot house and from purchasing a new unit! "WARNING - make sure you get a fully price estimate up front before they begin to do work. I brought them in to work on furnace/AC unit/split AC unit servicing garage (based on a promotional price for the first two). It was found my split unit needed a recharge for coolant and I was told that it'd only be 5 lbs of coolant and that this would be priced by the pound (which was reasonable). The bill came and they tacked on a flat charge of $219 for the coolant (this is in addition to the $129 charge to look over the split unit). I felt baited-and-switched. I also contacted them about this, and the answer came down to "This is additional profit for us added onto your bill." Not pleased. At all. Particularly since the coolant in question costs approximately $6 per pound and they only used 5 lbs (one would assume that the $129 charge built in enough profit for labor/licenses/equipment due to the limited time spent working on the split unit. Apparently not). Comfort By Design does excellent work, and they do stand by their work, but just be VERY CAREFUL in finding out what they're going to charge you, particularly if something extra comes up when they're doing a job."

"Mike and his associate, Andy, arrived on time and explained the process of the cleaning. Mike took before and after pictures, which showed us the extreme difference - we definitely got more than our monies worth! They were personable, professional and very affordable. Mike pointed out that we had a busted dryer vent that was causing some of the dryer lint to come into our home. We asked if he could repair it and he was able to do that. The whole process took about 1 1/2 hours, and we are totally enjoying the clean, fresh air whenever the furnace kicks in. We would hire Integrity Furnace again in a heartbeat, and would definitely recommend them to family and friends."
