"The garage door spring broke on at 7:30 pm on Saturday 8/31/2019. Due to the Labor Day holiday weekend, service could not be obtained until 9/3/19 from any of the Angie's list recommendations. I left a message with all of the recommended companies on 8/31/19 and Town & Country had a message on their answering machine that they would call back on Sunday 9/1/19 after 9;00 am. On Sunday at about 9:45 am, Damion called back quote a price of $99 for install and a price of $149 for a pair of replacement springs. But, due to the holiday weekend the earliest they could do the work would be on Tuesday 9/2/19. He said Brian G. would arrive from 10-12 am. Damion was thorough, friendly, professional, and efficient. Brian G. arrived as expected and quickly and efficiently removed and replace the springs in about 30 minutes. Brian did an excellent job. He was thorough, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend Town & Country for garage door repair."

"Rob and Zach were AWESOME! Very professional and courteous. OUTSTANDING work! My wife and I are thrilled with our new Master Bathroom. The job consisted of totally ripping out everthing and building from a design I provided (with numerous recommendations and changes from Rob and Zach based on their experience!). The job included new Thomasville cabinets with a granite countertop and two undermounted sinks, a 72" x 36" jetted tub (11 jets) surrounded by porcelain tile, a high profile toilet, new lighting/ventilation/plumbing, porcelain tiled floors, and best of all, an AWESOME porcelain-walled walk-in shower with accents, bench, body sprays, adjustable mount hand-held shower massage and wall-mounted shower head (all Kohler products) with a massive euroglass entrance!
Throughout the project, Rob and Zach took the time to explain what they did, what they were doing and what they were going to do... in easy to understand terms.
The only thing I would have preferred would be more up-front project planning. I believe the job turned out to be bigger than expected due to a lack of project planning, which impacted the time and amount of money required to do the job... that being said though, it was well worth the cost and the wait as I was flexible on the time and they were flexible on the payments above the original price quoted.
Thanks Rob and Zach for the FANTASTIC work! I look forward to working with you again when its time to remodel the kitchen!! I have already recommended you to others and will continue to do so!!

"After a very heartbreaking flood in our basement, just months after we refinished it, we found Andrew on Angie's List. We decided to call him for an estimate, as he was rated with all As. If it were available, I would give him all A+s. He and his wife were responsive, helpful, honest, trustworthy, always on time, and innovative in solving our problem. He planned to install one type of system, but due to the structure of our house, he was unable. Despite being at our house on a Saturday, and spending approximately 3 - 4 hours on the job, he didn't charge us as he couldn't complete the work. Again, this was not his fault, but an issue with our basement structure. He was thorough in explaining the steps he had taken and the results. He put everything back as it was, cleaned up, and made recommendations on what to do next. As it turns out, he did some research and talked to some colleagues in the business, and came up with a solution for us that could work. He called back the next day, told us his idea, and gave us a revised estimate. He was out within a week to install the system. It actually was a lot more work than he had originally planned, as we had another major water problem right before he was scheduled to start installation. He and Angelina had to haul out 60 gallons of water from our basement, before he could even start. But they worked very hard for approximately three long days, got our new drainage system and sump pump installed and working, cleaned everything up afterwards, and charged us the amount originally quoted. We just had a major rain last night and NO WATER in the basement!! It appears to be working and we are thrilled! I highly recommend Andrew, and have already referred friends to him. One sidenote: being from Poland originally, he does have a thick accent. At times it makes communication a little challenging, but do not let this deter you from using his services!"

Pole Barn Builders questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can use a storage shed several ways, including as a chicken coop, but you'll need to make some modifications. You will have to add a chicken door, roosts, ventilation near the roof, mesh on the windows, and insulation if you live in a colder climate. Additionally, you’ll want to ensure that the shed is predator-proof so no other animals can harm your chickens. You should also add a run and nest boxes to your shed.

The most significant expense when building a barndominium is constructing the metal shell, which includes the roof, doors, and windows. Additional exterior components impacting the overall cost include metal siding and the concrete foundation.

Your foundation contractor will first need to remove the topsoil and any vegetation within 4 feet of the area around the barn. They’ll need to ensure they have clear access to the site to begin excavation, after which they can begin construction.

Rather than using a common two-by-four piece of wood for a rafter, you probably will use two-by-six, two-by-eight, two-by-ten, or even two-by-twelve boards. Wider lumber is typically a better choice in a larger building as it provides more sturdiness. Some installers may use wider lumber for rafters near the edges of the roof, where the greatest stress occurs, and save money with narrower lumber toward the middle.

The maximum size of a tiny home you can move depends on your state transportation guidelines, but the rule of thumb is a maximum of 400 square feet. However, as long as it falls within the local limits for traveling on public roadways, you should be good to hit the road.
