"Mike Turner came to my house for the initial estimate for the job. &nbsp;I had water leaking into my finished basement through the joint where the concrete wall meets the floor. &nbsp;It had become so bad that I had a significant pool of water in the middle of my basement. &nbsp;Mike did a great job explaining why my basement was leaking, and why B-Dry's solution would permanently solve the problem. &nbsp;He spent about an hour with me going over the details of the job, drawing up a plan, and letting me know what I'd need to do beforehand to prepare the basement for the job. &nbsp;Not only was I impressed by his professionalism and knowledge, B-Dry's price was less than 2 other estimates I had from other companies. <br /> The crew that came out to perform the job were great. &nbsp;They were friendly and courteous. &nbsp;The work is pretty dirty, and they did a good job of minimizing the mess. &nbsp;The job took 3 days, which was pretty quick given the amount of work involved. &nbsp;They had to remove the concrete around the perimeter of the basement, install the drain system, and also dig and install a new sump pump. <br /> The system has been in place for 2 weeks now, and we just had a weekend of very heavy rain to the point where there is some flooding in my neighborhood. &nbsp;My basement has stayed completely dry, where before I'd start to see signs of water a few hours after a rainfall. &nbsp;I'm very satisfied with the system B-Dry installed and I'm confident that my basement will remain dry. <br />

"They arrived on time and did a thorough inspection. But I was very disappointed in a few things. One, they asked me for a match to light the pilot. I had one match in the house. Seemed odd they would come without matches when they are inspecting a fireplace. Later, one of the employees had a box of matches in his hand. Was he too lazy earlier when he asked for one and did not want to go to his car to get his matches? I don't know, but that was a put off. Two, they could not find the switch for the fan. It was on the wall next to the fireplace. I cannot believe I was disturbed from getting ready for work to show them a switch on the wall next to fireplace. Three, they could not get the fan to work. I had to ask them if they checked the fuse box to see if it was turned off. Of course it was. These, to me are simple steps and troubleshooting measures that any person coming to the home would know to do. If they cannot figure out simple things like these, it makes me feel uncomfortable. <br /> To pay $189 for a gas fireplace inspection for a fireplace that does not produce heat and is for show only seems really high to me. I am more disappointed because I have had them come out before and do work and in the past were very professional and did an excellent job. I was disappointed this time. I am not sure if I would use them or not in the future. I marked yes because there is not an unsure option. <br />
