"Elliot is the rare sort of individual who gives each job his best effort, and will stick with a task until it meets his and  the owner's expectations.
In our case, he purchased, and had cut-to-measure, a section of downspout which he used to replace that which had apparently ruptured during the winter due to an ice accumulation. He then painted the new segment to match the older sections. It is functioning very well.
Although we purchased the doorknobs and accompanying dead bolt locks at his suggestion to offer choices, he installed them in three doors, which now feel significantly more secure than before.
He spent many hours repairing the mechansm of several kitchen drawers: one having become so worn we could hardly open it.. At one point, one of the drawers was making a thumping sound as it was closed, and he was very happy to re-do it so that it is now quieter.  The drawers now work very well, and open smoothly.
In short, Elliot Levinsohn is the ideal handyman: says what he will do, and then does it to the owners' and his specifications and standards; was punctual, friendly, and explains what he is doing...all for a reasoable price.

"carpentry work in the nursery and the crown on the bathroom ceiling are perfect. These guys worked hard and were there consecutive days until the project was complete.  I initially hired them to do just the wainscoting in nursery.  There was an attached bathroom that was gutted to the studs I was slowly working on and I wanted it done quicker they ended up putting up the drywall, laying the tile on the floor and tub surround and installing crown and trim. Great job would use again.

"It went well with the handyman part. They were polite, punctual, and efficient. However, the pulley system did not actually work out in my particular garage. We realized this as soon as we tried it out. They were very gracious about it, took it down, and packaged it back up for me to return to the store. They patched all the holes in the ceiling.

I would definitely hire them again.

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

Most duct booster fans are not designed to run continuously, though some models can be programmed for constant operation. Typically, they are controlled by the user via a switch, controls on the unit itself, or by being wired to the HVAC system's thermostat. Wiring the fan to a thermostat allows it to run automatically only when heating or cooling is active, which saves energy and is an effective way to activate the fan only when needed to address issues like uneven room temperatures.

The number of blades for your fan poses both advantages and disadvantages. Typically, the more blades on a fan, the better the air distribution and cooling effect, but this also means that your fan will have more wear on its motor. For small rooms, three-blade fans should work fine. For larger areas like living rooms, four or five-blade fans might be the better option.

Regularly clean the blades, check for loose screws, and lubricate moving parts to prevent noise and wear.

Ceiling fans are very often worth the investment because they improve comfort in your living space and help reduce utility bills. In the late spring and early fall—and even in the summer in some areas—homeowners with ceiling fans can often get away with open windows and fans, which can cut down on cooling bills and also reduce wear and tear on the HVAC system. Over time, ceiling fans can pay for themselves by saving you money on electric bills and air conditioner repair and maintenance.

Leaving an exhaust fan on constantly isn’t ideal. While it helps remove moisture and odors, continuous use will lead to wear and tear, higher energy costs, and even fire risks if the motor overheats. Bathroom fans should run for 20 to 30 minutes after a shower, while kitchen exhaust fans should be used only when cooking or clearing air.
