The two-men team worked tirelessly over the course of four days and brought everything in perfect shape! Our deck looks brand new, the backyard fence is well preserved and the ceiling looks perfect! This is the second time weâ ve hired Plomari and weâ ll definitely work with them again. Super-tidy, hardworking and respectful workers and reasonable pricing for a solid service! Bruce, the painter assigned to do the work, started by putting up plastic sheeting to completely cover and protect the kitchen cabinets, cupboards, and appliances as well as to seal off the entrances to the rest of my condo. He then repaired the water-stained areas in the ceiling (involving treating or replacing damaged/discolored areas as appropriate) and allowed the products used to dry. Finally, he applied two coats of paint over the entire ceiling. The entire job was finished in less than a day."

"After some initial frustration with the estimator failing to get back to me regarding a breakdown of the work to be done, the owner really stepped up. First, he agreed to give us a “painter for a day.” Second, after we agreed to have Sheldon/Sons do the work, they worked closely with us as the project needed substantial revisions. After stripping/powerwashing the deck, it was determined that the deck was made with mahogany, a rare and expensive wood for decks. Rather than simply proceeding with application of the solid stain we originally requested, Scott Sheldon had his Sherwin Williams rep come out to determine the best option for refinishing the deck. And then Scott came to meet with us personally to discuss our options. We ended up using an Exotic Hardwood stain for the boards and rail caps. And after some steady rains kept the workers away for a few days, they got the project done promptly once the weather cleared. We are very thrilled with the outcome!"

"Marathon Painting arrived on site and proceeded to power wash the entire house. After washing, they placed brown paper and masking tape on all windows. They proceeded to scrape any loose paint  and to caulk the seams in the siding. Once the house was prepped, they spray painted the house, applying two coats of exterior latex paint and not latex stain. They spray painted the aluminum gutters and downspouts.
After the first year, the sections of the house exposed to the most intense sunlight  started to flake and peel. They were contacted and they came back on site with one man. He scraped the siding and used the left over latex paint we had had and repainted the portions of the house requiring repainting. During the painting process, the worker spilled paint on the roof and sidewalk that had to be pressure washed.
Because latex paint was used on latex stain, the house is now peeling and will need to be re- scraped and re-painted.
I would not use this company again nor would I refer them to anyone else"

"The painters on job performed very well. Owners never showed up on job. When we told them that the 2 steps had not been power washed - no one spoke English so they stained right over the non-prepared steps. We signed contract and paid the price and as understood, paid for paint and supplies. The PROBLEM IS THAT THEY OVERPRICED THE JOB. For the approximately 56 hours of work they ended up charging us $160 per hour per person! We believe every company should make a profit but this is ridiculous. We tried to talk with them, but they did not call back . WARNING- get an estimate of hours and the price so you know what you are paying for."
