Joe immediately came out and gave us an estimate. Based on other estimates we received, Joe’s estimate was in line. When we decided to go with them they were able to send a crew over in a very timely manner. The crew was headed by Hector. The crew was friendly and very competent. Joe stopped by each day to supervise the work. The crew cleaned up each day and replaced all of our furniture at the end of the job. The painting was excellently completed. We have already recommended the company to several colleagues who were looking for painters. Joe, Hector and the rest of the crew are true professionals.

The painting in my home looks excellent! Robert was my first contact as he came out to do the estimate. He was more thorough than anyone else I met with and I could tell right off the bat he had experience. I appreciated that he took the time to talk through all aspects of the job and by the end I knew this was the company for me. Robert was in frequent contact over the next few days as we selected paint colors and scheduled painting. Three painters were sent each day. They did a great job and had phenomenal level of detail in their painting. After each day of work Robert came by my home to check on the progress to make sure I was happy. Any slight adjustment I requested or question I asked was met with a willingness to make sure everything was more than perfect. I could tell this was a company that cared about leaving behind good work and knew my happiness with the work was a priority. The finished product looks wonderful and has already received complements from other workers coming through my home! I couldn't be happier with the way my home now looks.

Absolutely first rate work. Klappenberger was a delight to work with. Their bid was meaningfully lower than the other two bids we received, but based on reviews here we had great confidence in their work. We were not disappointed. The work was beautifully done and done quickly. There was terrific communication about the status of the job. The house is a weekend place for us, so we were not there to see how things were going, but they sent pictures as they went. Absolutely first rate all around.

Alex, Raul, Hugo and Roberto arrived on time at 8 am both days.  They immediately did all the prep work and started painting.   The paint that they used was Eco-friendly and didn't have any paint smell.  The was important to me since I have three cats and I also can't stand the smell of paint.
Day 1: They painted both bathrooms, both bedrooms and the kitchen.  They removed everything that was hanging on the wall.
I live in a condo and they painted all the walls, doors, ceilings, base boards and window sills in the kitchen, living room, dining room, hallway, two bedrooms and two bathrooms.   
Since I work from home and my office is in the living room, I asked them to do that room last.  On day two, I they painted the hall way, living room and dining room.  They moved my chair to my bedroom and sat it by the window so that I could spend the day reading.
I would most definitely recommend this business.

These guys are fantastic! I can not say enough to give them enough praise. I have used them twice now. Once to paint my upstairs (every wall) and then again to paint the formal rooms downstairs (formal living, dining and foyer) and 2 stairways. They are very professional, the owner stopped by several times to check in on the progress and the lead painter made sure we knew what was going on every step of the way and pointed out any issues that may slow them down, presented us options, and had us decide what action was best. We just bought our house and it had many problems with the walls - mostly bad sheet rock tape and a multitude of dents. Our painters fixed it all! We were limited on time, so instead of leaving work undone or requiring another of of work, they brought in a 4th painter and stayed late to make sure everything was done to satisfaction.  At one point, they had started painting one room, and I decided the color I picked out did not work. No problem, no grumbling or complaints, they just moved to another area until I could get a gallon of the new color.  Every time I peeked in on them, not once did I catch anyone resting or slacking off. These are very hard working fellows and very good at what they do.  Professionalism and quality of work at its best.

Klappenberger made scheduling easy for both the quote and the work. They did the work as planned and it looks great.  Communication with their office was really easy. The only thing close to an issue is that the work was delayed because of rain...I appreciate that they didn't paint wet wood and end up with a bad result! Would definetly use these folks again.

The work was started and finished on time. It went fairly well however they didn't remove the switch plates and outlet covers when painting my bathroom.

The contractor was personable, easy to work with, and did a perfect job, quickly and without any hitches. We would work with him again any day, any time.

We have used Klappenberger & Sons for years to do painting, staining and small repairs to stained or painted surfaces. Most of the work they have done has been on the outside of the house but we did have some inside work done in 2009. We first used them in 2003.

We will continue to use them because of the quality of their work and they will correct any problems that occur without delay. At this point we consider them friends, not just painters.

Their service is excellent.  They were prompt, responsive and did a great job.

They did a really great job.  Our house has cedar shingles and the style is no longer available and we had quite a few that had dry rotted.  Jim went all over until he found someone locally who would custom make them for a reasonable price.  He really went above and beyond with his customer service.  I would definitely recommend them and plan to use them again.

We have used them several times and they are always very reliable, quick, professional, prompt and do a great job.  The pricing is also very competitive. David is very personable.

Everything turned out really well.  They were prompt, cleaned up after themselves and the paint job looks great.  They did a very neat painting job and worked very.  I noticed a few areas that needed to be touched up and when I let them know they came back out right away to take care of it.  The crew of four worked very efficiently and completed all the work in two days.  We got a few estimates from providers and they were not the lowest but they offered the time frame we wanted.  They came also came out to do the estimate right away and got back to us within 24 hours.  I would give them an A+!

Scheduling went well.  The owner himself came out for the assessment.  A crew of 2 men performed the service, one man came out and power washed the deck and the next day another man came out to stain it.

I was satisfied with one coat on townhouse walls. Kitchen cabinets were also painted. Foyer floor replaced. This was a good price for what was done. There were some paint splatters pointed out by the realtor.
