"A-1 fencing did a great job with my fence and deck. When we requested an estimate with A-1, they came right on time (actually came earlier because they were already in the area) and listened patiently to everything we wanted to get done. They took care of the city permit for our deck and fence while we took care of the HOA permit, which made it very easy for us since we only had to manage one of the permits. Cesar and the team at A-1 was very responsive to my emails, texts, and calls which I really appreciated. When building the actual fencing and decking, the workers were really polite and meticulous. Our house overlooks a pretty steep cliff and our door leading to the deck is very high, so I applaud them for being able to create something so beautiful for us given the conditions they were facing. Throughout the process, Cesar updated me on the timeline of everything and anytime I had a question, I could always call him and have my questions answered. The team at A-1 did an amazing job and I for sure would recommend them to my friends and relatives and anyone searching online."

"Representative was very friendly and made an appointment to come to our home to put together an estimate. He was very knowledgeable about fencing, materials, etc. I was impressed with the sample materials that he brought to demonstrate the quality of their product. He also explained that, since they do things the right way, their company's estimate would undoubtedly be higher than the others I would receive. Fair enough--I appreciated being told upfront. I also understand that you get what you pay for. But, everything in life is a cost-benefit analysis. After assuring the rep we would be in contact once we made a decision, he stated that he definitely would not be hassling me to pressure me into going with his company. As it turns out, of the many companies that I reached out to, this rep kept badgering me with more and more messages. Other companies might send one or two follow up emails, but this guy was persistent! Even after gently informing him that it is simply not in our budget (their quote was $3700 more than two of the lower bids we received), he would still send messages telling me how our fence wouldn't last since we are going with a subpar company. I have no doubt they do excellent work, but they also need to respect that customers are going to request multiple quotes and not everyone is able to go with their company"

"My experience with Fence & Deck Connection was nothing short of great! From the first time I met with Chris and gave him my vision of what I wanted, there was one obstacle in my yard, but Chris came up with a solution to work around that. I think it took less than an hour for him to get the estimate to me and I was very satisfied with the price. A few days later, Jimmy showed up to take pictures and measurements and explained to me everything that would take place. Little did they know at the time, my neighbor approves permits for the town and she expressed how professional they were and everything was in order and she never had to reach back out to them. On the first day the crew worked through the rain until about 3pm when the rain just became too much. The next day was a complete washout, out of their control, so no work could be performed. However, the next two days the crew worked late into the day to finish. They power washed the deck and cleaned up the yard whereas you could never tell that a work crew had been there. "The team Fence & Deck sent to install a fence in my backyard—an area measuring about 1/6th of an acre—were quick, efficient, and friendly. The first team member showed up just before 7:30 to start dismantling the old fence. By 8 AM, the rest of the team was hard at work. It was a quieter process than I thought, to be honest—which was great, as my neighbors work from home. They were finished by 2 PM; had cleaned up, packed up the old fence and their equipment and were gone. There were issues with installing the new fence: trees had grown into the fence path, most of them belonging to the neighbors. The team presented me with possible solutions at each point, so I could get the fence I wanted—or as close as was possible given the obstacles. It was a very low-stress construction day, and we—and our neighbors—really like the results."
