We had an excellent experience. They came out and gave us a very fair quote. I felt no pressure while deciding on what design we wanted. They day of installation could not have gone any smoother. They are a very professional competent team. The fence is exactly what I had hoped for, we now have a little oasis of a backyard.

Estimate was reasonably detailed and covered all the nuances of the job. Crew was prompt and executed the job quickly and flawlessly.

If there is a -5 starts for review selection, that will be my score review for this business. Somehow all other review looks like "family and friends" reviews to me now. First of all, they scheduled a quote appointment that is 2 weeks and 4 days later on the day I called. Second the business hour is 8 to 5 but somehow after 2:30pm no one answers the calls anymore. Third, no one ever confirm the appointment (due to they do not answer the phone after 2:30pm). Fourth, they NO show on the day of appointment day and no one answer the phone after 2 pm on the day of the appointment.... Don't tell me, "did you leave a voicemail" since no one answer the phone.... I don't believe they will check the voicemail..... Way to do business!!!

The initial contact with Master Fences and estimate by Peter went very well and I was impressed by the handling of everything; until things went south just as I was preparing to sign a contract with them. Basically, I got a bate and switch routine that I didn't see coming. After Peter visited my house and gave me an estimate for either a white vinyl or wooden privacy fence, I asked for a formal contract from Sabrina at the home office. It was then that she told me that Master Fences recently switched vendors so the cost of the reinforced vinyl fence (steel inserts were included with the vinyl fencing initially when I asked for a reinforced fence) would increase by more than $2400 or $900 dollars for wooden inserts due to their new vendor's pricing. Since when does a price quote, that you're basing acceptance of a contract, change at signing? Sabrina told me that both Master Fences and a potential customer, have a three day period to either accept or reject a contract (she's mistaking the three-day right of rescission afforded the customer to dissuade unscrupulous hard sell proprietors that try to force a product or service on a potential client), which wasn't at play since I hadn't signed the contract yet. Furthermore, Sabrina also said that Master Fences was only required to honor an estimate for 30-days. Well, the estimate was done on April 7, 2021 and this conversation took place last Friday, April 30, 2021. And today is May 5th - you do the math! In any event, I informed her that what she was saying wasn't correct, and what Master Fences was trying to do was a sharp business practice - bate and switch. She told me that she would see what she could do, but I've not heard back from her or anyone else at Master Fences. I'm disappointed that I was misled this way and advise any potential customers to do business with a provider that honors what it puts in writing!

Contacted for a quote and got a quote in a few days. Quote was quite reasonable for the work requested (replacement of two fence post). Work was completed by the expected date. Workers were efficient, polite and complete the repairs well. Communication from the front office could be better. I had to call for appointment date, which they had made in their calendar but had not notified me, and they did not call the day before to let me know exact time workers would be coming as they said they would. Minor blips. I would hire them again.

I’ve had a horrible experience the entire way through with Master Fences. First, the estimate was written so poorly and was unreadable, so it didn’t match what I had actually told the salesman I wanted. So, I had a change order increased costs. Then, after finally installing the gate, the hardware was installed stripped, so the gate was essentially non functioning. Then, when they fixed it for the third time, the height of the hardware was off completely. Despite the salesman coming back out and looking at it, agreeeing to fix it, the installer just told me I was wrong and bat he wouldn’t fix it. They wrote down my phone number wrong, and despite repeated requests that they call me on my actual number I would get emails telling me they couldn’t reach me. And did I mention they gave me a paper bill, but billed my credit card without authorization? I would give zero stars if I could. I do not recommend, as Master Fences is highly unprofessional.

The Estimator arrived late because he couldn't find a parking space. He wasn't able to call because he was given an inaccurate phone number by the "office". It was a horribly hot and sticky day and the Estimator was understandably uncomfortable on his arrival. A week has passed by, not estimate has been provided.

The estimator was very polite, friendly and came on time to do the estimation. The price estimated was very affordable and better than what was quoted by other agencies. The agency send the workers on the date agreed. They came sharp on time, did the work really well and cleaned up well after they were done.

The person never should up. I had a 4 pm appointment to get an estimate. The person called me at 3:40 pm on the day of he appointment and asked if he could reschedule for the next day because it was raining . I explained that was not convenient for me and I was at the house waiting for him. He said he would be there around 4:30 pm. At 5 pm, I called and left him a voice message to confirm that he was still coming. He called me back and said he had come to the address and no one was there. The address he gave me was a few doors down from my house. I told him that was not the correct address and gave him my address. He told me after he went to the address he had given me he went home. I told him to forget it

They had to come back to fix some issues but overall the work was more than satisfactory

I am very happy with the fence. Otto came on time and did a great job. He had a few good questions and I appreciate him asking to ensure it is what we agreed to in the contract. I appreciated the contract which outlined what they would be doing. I validated the overall cost on other sites for reasonableness and I am very pleased with the cost, quality and service. Another contractor said it would take 2 days and cost $3,400. Otto took down the fence and put up the new fence in 4 hours. Great job Master Fences!!!

Initially very responsive on the initial quote, and extremely competitive on the price. However, after our project got more complicated (we needed a custom gate solution), things went downhill. From then on, we ran into issues as the materials took weeks longer than they promised to arrive, they were not good at communicating with us on the continually sliding delivery times, and then there were issues with the installation that required substantial rework. Carlos is friendly, honest, cooperative, hardworking, and committed to providing a good solution. I would use them again for simple jobs, but would not recommend them for anything that is custom or complicated.
