Fence Install Reviews Near You

D&A Construction
Adam did a great job with our privacy fence. He was able to start and complete our fence within 2 weeks of initial contact- most fencing companies I contacted were booked out 4-8 weeks! Our only minor complaint was that his communication could have been more thorough, but he still get 5 stars. He installed around 110ft of privacy fence with one double gate and one single gate. Gates open and close with no issues. Fence is level and straight. Cleaned up the garage where the lumber was stored and cut. Fence is treated pine with dog ear tops.

Morrison Fence Co
Other than a little hiccup getting the estimate, the experience was excellent. He came back to "tweak" some things and did restore a drainage swale that accidentally got filled in. Nice hardware for the gates, and the gates are pleasantly architectural in shape, not just the usual rectangular box.

Arrow Fence of Ohio LLC
The front section and gate looks great. It adds more curb appeal to my house. Very impressed with the professionalism and work ethic. If I ever have another fence project I will be contacting Arrow Fence.

The job went very well. 165' of 6' Cedar privacy fencing replaced old privacy fence. Two gates were replaced and one gate was expandable to allow for a riding lawnmower to enter the yard with no problems. The company was very professional and the installation of the new fence was outstanding. This company is honest and trustworthy. The price included hauling away the old fence. They cleaned up after themselves. I am very happy with the fence.

The pasture fencing is excellent. The back yard fence is very attractive and keeps the kids in and the critters out. The back yard fence was about $1400 and the pasture fence the rest.

Bob and his crew were wonderful to work with. Bob responded very quickly with an estimate and suggestions on types of fencing, The old fence was already down in places and was quite overgrown, I did not have any gates. I was very happy with the price and was surprised when I left for work in the morning and old fence was gone and new fence in and complete by time I returned home from work. The crew hauled everything away and I love my new fence.

Fence Specialists
Our daughter, a single working Mom, wanted a fence installed in her backyard, and needed estimates from qualified installers. So, we consulted Angie's List, and selected Fence Specialist to provide her/our first estimate. Brent arrived promptly, provided needed information regarding product choices and installation details, and answered all questions. My husband and daughter subsequently spoke with him by phone, and all of us had the same comfort level that 'the job would be done right' we hired Fence Specialist. Our instincts were correct!! From scheduling through clean-up...the job was done professionally, courteously, and expertly. The fencing experience with Fence Specialist was totally satisfying, and our daughter is thrilled with her new fence!

Fence Specialists
After finding the company on Angie's list, we called Fencing Solutions for an estimate. Brent came out within a few days for that estimate, answered all of our questions, and discussed our options. We had researched and received several estimates from other companies, but Fencing Solutions provided the best product and price, overall. His crew came out and installed our fence, including 2 single gates, and 1 double gate. They worked extremely hard at leveling the fence and making it look perfect. They were not happy with the way one of the gates looked and so Brent had a special gate made to go along with the slope of our yard. All of their extra time and dilligence paid off and we are thrilled with the final product. Fencing Solutions wants to please their customers and they certainly exceeded our expectations.

we had to close large gates in front of garage. now we do not use large gates because of the smaller gate between deck and garage.

The Fence Guy
We had used Keith about 10 years ago to install a cedar privacy fence around our rather large back yard. After time, a juniper bush was overtaking part of the the fence near the front of our back yard and needed to be removed. Caught up in the middle of the bush was an old chain-link fence that we had left there when the original privacy fence was installed. Keith came out to look over the project and agreed to remove the bush and an old chain-link fence that was caught up within the giant juniper bush. He was to replace the gate and replace the chain-link fence with a new cedar privacy fence. The project started out OK....until he broke a chain in his saw trying to cut down the bush. Two chains later, he removed the bush and hauled one load of bush away in his trailer. The bush was too big to get all of it in the trailer at one time. Once he started on the fence and gate, the project moved pretty fast. The new gate and fence were up within a few hours and he even fixed another gate that was not working as well as it should have. In hindsight, the bush was probably more of a challenge than either of us had envisioned, but it's gone and the new fence - minus the sprawling juniper bush - looks great.

Expert fence llc
Expert Fence Was quite possibly one of the best experiences I have had hiring work out at our house. Not only were they professional and courteous when they came out to our house, they gave good design ideas, very transparent about pricing options, and we’re really responsive with all of my questions. I texted them several times and got immediate responses! They truly care and want the best for their customers and that’s what they deliver done. The quality looks exceptional and the price was fantastic! I would definitely hire them again and recommend them

Ace Fence & Deck LLC
We have been very happy with This company and their professionalism. We had some privacy fence and a couple of gates replaced by Ace. Ace was prompt and finished the job fast. The first thing they had to do was take the old fence out; I really liked how they put up orange plastic fence the nite before our new fence was put up so our dog couldn't get out. The fence looks great, and Ace was happy to come back a couple of times to put up some extra hardware on at no charge.

Arrow Fence of Ohio LLC
We had a really good experience getting the fence, They put in our fence and that of our neighbor at the same time.

Ace Fence & Deck LLC
Rob was punctual, but I found him very pushy. Rob seemed to not listen to our requests and then tried pushing us to go with a vinyl fence instead of a cedar fence. We also wanted a gate that blended in with the rest of the fence and Rob said that they ONLY make curved top gates. This was not what we wanted and Rob said that they would not be willing to make a gate that was straight across on the top because they did not feel that it was sturdy enough. He then informed me of how knowledgeable they are about building fencing and that is just the way they do it. I have seen many fences with a straight-top gate and they seem just fine. The estimate was also by far the most expensive of the 5 estimates that we had gotten. Estimated cost was $5,800.

The job took about three hours. The repairmen were very nice, personable and professional. They did a beautiful job of repairing the fence and building/fixing the two gates. They asked for my opinion on the gate closures, explained things very well and even found a handle for the outside of the back gate to make it easier to use. I am very pleased with the work that was done and will consider using this company in the future.

A-1 Quality Carpentry
Jeff was very easy to work with and to get a hold of. I needed ~250 feet of 42" tall crossbuck wood fencing (with wire) along with a gate across the driveway- the fence is perfectly straight and follows my land beautifully, no small feat considering the grade pitches quite a bit. Jeff's attention to detail shows in his work, and I am extremely happy with the result; the neighbors are very happy with it too, and I have received a lot of compliments!

Chris responded very quickly to my request via Angie's List, and came out to give me a quote the next day. The work was done promptly, with high quality, and at a reasonable price.

However, we may have pros in another category that can help with your project.

How much does fence installation near me cost?

Homeowners spend an average of $4,500 to install a new fence. Contact three companies near you to consider all of the local price points.

Wooden fences are the most common and cost-effective option, while aluminum and vinyl fencing tend to cost more. To determine fencing cost, consider the materials being used, the size of the fence and the location where it will be installed.

  • Wooden fences typically cost $16 per foot.
  • Expect to incur $30 per foot for vinyl.
  • $40 per foot for aluminum fencing.
  • Chain-link fences run $13 per foot.
  • Vinyl and aluminum are among the toughest and most durable fencing materials in the market.

How do I choose a good fencing company near me?

To find a quality contractor, ensure they meet the following requirements.

  • Licensed and insured
  • Awareness of underground utility lines
  • Clear and detailed cost estimate
  • It is always a good idea to shop around before selecting a fence installer. Compare three estimates to get the best offer that suits your budget.

In addition to the material cost, also consider labor.

Labor costs range between $30 to $50 per hour.

Location matters because fencing a pool may cost more than simply installing a fence on your front yard. Proper fencing comes in handy for many different applications. An installed fence can secure premises, establish a clear boundary and even boost the aesthetic appeal of a home. A good fencing job involves an understanding of the landscape and use of the right materials. Hire a fence installer who understands your needs and is qualified enough to equip a long-lasting structure.
