A-1 fencing did a great job with my fence and deck. When we requested an estimate with A-1, they came right on time (actually came earlier because they were already in the area) and listened patiently to everything we wanted to get done. They took care of the city permit for our deck and fence while we took care of the HOA permit, which made it very easy for us since we only had to manage one of the permits. Cesar and the team at A-1 was very responsive to my emails, texts, and calls which I really appreciated. When building the actual fencing and decking, the workers were really polite and meticulous. Our house overlooks a pretty steep cliff and our door leading to the deck is very high, so I applaud them for being able to create something so beautiful for us given the conditions they were facing. Throughout the process, Cesar updated me on the timeline of everything and anytime I had a question, I could always call him and have my questions answered. The team at A-1 did an amazing job and I for sure would recommend them to my friends and relatives and anyone searching online.

Price is good. Cesar is experienced and courteous. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, the wait time is about 6 weeks. The crew were experienced and efficient. Took two days to complete the work. Pretty good job.

The project went well. The employees arrived early in the day and worked continuously until the job was done. The craftsmanship is excellent. The new fence looks great. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Cesar gave the best cost of the 5 estimates I received for the fence. He and the other workers completed the fence in just a little over a day. They worked efficiently and cleanly, and were very considerate of the safety of others, including my neighbors, during this COVID-19 pandemic. The fence looks great!

Replace old fence in backyard

They arrived as scheduled and worked professionally and did a great job. The job was finished as planned with good quality. They provided a good price and quality work.

Cesar inspected the old fences, and he gave us a reasonably-priced quote. He ensured that a few days prior to the fence work, the city's/county's utility people came to the site and marked the utilities' locations. On the day of the fence replacement, his workers arrived on time. After a few hours, the new fence was installed. In terms of material and appearance, it matched the previous fence perfectly, which was in keeping with the HOA's requirements. Cesar is a professional, and it was our pleasure to work with him. We would definitely hire his company again.

The job went pretty good. The only glitch is the guys that installed were not updated, or aware of a boundary line adjustment discussed between the primary company liaison and myself. Hence, when they installed they did so according to original paperwork. :( However, after I contacted the company about the matter, and spoke with my liason, even though an entire fence side needed to be adjusted _ they were willing to do so. The overall workmanship and services otherwise were good, so a tip was given in lite of the day they had to come out and adjust the fence. It was worth it all.

We had a wood privacy fence and drive gate installed to enclose our 1/3 acre property in silver spring. Cesar was very responsive, professional, and punctional during the job. We now have a dog friendly property! We have been very happy with the result and would hire again!

We are very pleased with the new fence. Excellent work, and very courteous, flexible, and professional staff. Cesar was extremely helpful. They were punctual and were able to do the work promptly. Also, they worked out how to make several changes to the original order once we saw that our old wall was not safe and could not be repaired. I would use them again and fully recommend them.

Cesar was top notch! Cesar and I exchanged some text message to set up the estimate, and he came out and we walked to the fence to discuss the work. Cesar said we could repair parts of the fence and he provided an estimate for doing so; but given that three sections were heavily damaged, he recommended replacing those sections with new boards and provided an estimate for that work, too. We ultimately took Cesar's recommendation and replaced three sections of fence. We had a lot of snow fall right before the first date we scheduled for the work, but Cesar kept us informed of when they could do the work via email. They actually came out the next day, despite the snow. The work was excellent. Cesar was always very responsive and just a great guy to work with. I highly recommend A-1 Fencing!

Excellent. First, Cesar was very responsive during the proposal stage. And then he was very persistent to get the needed county permit. Lastly the work was all done in a day and then minor adjustments he took care of the next day. I would definitely hire Cesar/A-1 Fencing again.

A 1 Fencing installed a new section of fence for me last spring and made some repairs elsewhere along the fence. They first inspected the fence carefully, and quoted me an estimated cost for the repairs that I found reasonable. They then returned and did a fine job. I give them top marks, and recommend them highly.

A-1 Fencing recently installed a fence for us. They arrived on time and had the equipment and materials to do the job. They worked very hard to complete the fence the same day. They hauled away the old fence and cleaned up after the installation of the new one. They were professional and courteous and took the time to answer any questions we had. I would certainly recommend them.

Cesar was one of the easiest contractors I’ve ever worked with. I sent my project request to four companies on Angie’s list, and he was the fastest to respond, come for an estimate, and could schedule the project pretty quickly. His price was also the best out of the three who provided an estimate. Throughout the whole process he was available and accommodating. The finished project looks great, too.

I can't begin to say enough about how happy I am with the work done by A-1 fencing. Right from the get go, Cesar was extremely professional yet cordial, very helpful, and honest. He listened to what I wanted to do, and gave great suggestions on how I could improve the end result. It took me several months to get approval from my HOA to redo my backyard the way I wanted, and Cesar stuck to the same pricing he had quoted me before, though he really didn’t have to. After my project was complete, I called and texted Cesar a few times to address some minor issues. Again, he was very responsive and bent on making this a good customer experience! I give A-1 fencing an A+ and would recommend them to anyone who needs a beautiful patio or fencing done. Excellent, Cesar was very responsive from the beginning. As agreed, he showed up at 8am the day after we talked and he and his crew finished the job in a few hours the very same day (old fence removal and installation of 13 6h8w panels and a gate). I would definitely recommend and hire again.

I only had a small job to do but Cesar was very responsive (I had used Angie's List messenger feature). He responded within a couple hours after my initial inquiry. When I told him what I needed done, he told me a price and stuck to it. I had him come out just to make sure that it would cost what he said he would cost. He saw the fence, said the price was the same. Came a couple days later and it was done in less than 1 hour and half. The two workers that came were fast and efficient. I am very happy with the work that they did and would give him the first shot at any other fence repairs or new fence I may need in the future.

Cesar and his crew did an excellent job. It was not an easy fence to replace, as my neighbor's bamboo has grown out of control, and there are roots everywhere. They dug extra deep holes to strengthen the fence and hold off the bamboo. They did the job quickly and professionally. I would definitely hire them again.
