"This is the second time that Dig M Pools did and installation for us. Again we were very happy with the job they did. We purchased our pool from them and it is a well made product. The owners wife was very helpful when we were deciding what pool to purchase. I would recommend Dig M Pools as first choice. Excellent job. Thanks Dig M."

"Backyard Ponds is magic. I have a small backyard pond, stream and waterfall that have been
leaking for years. Various workmen had poured concrete into it, slathered mortar
between stones and sprayed special waterfall foam all over the sides of it. My
pond, stream and waterfall continued to leak. Hilary of Backyard Ponds looked at it for a while, moved one
stone and fixed the leak. How did you do that! I yelled. Well after you work on
enough of these things you get an eye for what the problem could be. Then she
vacuumed all the mud that had been clogging the pum , reattached the waterline
and pump that I could never get to stay together, restacked the rocks along the
edge of the stream so they actually sat on top of each other instead of sliding
down at all angles, and added a few strategically placed rocks to hide the pump
and waterline and cover the rubber sides of the stream. She added a regulator to
the water line so I could make the water run fast and slow. And more. I have had
a pond and stream for fifteen years, and many people have worked on it, from
expensive professioanl landscapers to guys I would swear the contractor picked
up off the street corner. The difference in using someone who specializes in
ponds is stunning. Backyard ponds is
magic.

"Everything went as planned start to finish. Leisure pools techs are the best by far. They worked with me every step of the way to get it completed. Always on time and ready to work when they showed up. Clean up after job was completed was great you could not tell they were here. This was no small job by far pool is 16 by 40 an 12 feet deep. It now looks better that when it was installed in 1969!!! If you want the job done right the first time then hire Leisure Pools."

Install Above Ground Pools questions, answered by experts

Upgrading equipment during pool and spa service will draw additional power from your electrical panel and requires dedicated circuits. Refilling your system from the municipal water supply temporarily lowers household water pressure. Because Frederick has expansive clay soils, undetected plumbing leaks will cause soil shifting and damage your home foundation. Gas heater replacements directly impact your home gas lines and require a certified specialist to ensure proper pressure.

Helpful?

You must keep children and pets away from the area for 24 to 48 hours after chemical treatments during pool and spa service. Install a compliant four-foot fence with self-latching gates to restrict unsupervised access. Ask a local professional to verify your drain covers meet current safety standards. During any deck resurfacing or repairs in Frederick, cordon off the workspace to prevent tripping hazards from uneven surfaces and debris.

Helpful?

Routine pool and spa service provides immediate relief during hot Maryland summers by keeping your water clean and safe from algae. Over the long term, consistent maintenance extends the life of your equipment through harsh freeze-thaw cycles. Regular inspections also identify early signs of structural damage caused by shifting clay soils. Properly maintained systems ensure your property remains safe and compliant with local regulations year after year.

Helpful?

Consistent pool and spa service increases your home resale appeal in the competitive MD real estate market. Buyers look for documented maintenance records to prove the system survived harsh winter freezes without damage. Addressing deferred maintenance prevents buyers from demanding concessions during the home inspection. Upgrading to energy-efficient pumps and heaters attracts environmentally conscious buyers and adds lasting value to your property.

Helpful?

Completing pool and spa service in Frederick takes different amounts of time depending on the project. Routine weekly maintenance takes 30 to 90 minutes. Spring openings and fall winterizations take one to two days to finish. Standard equipment repairs require one to three days. Major renovations take one to three weeks. Keep in mind that structural work requires local building permits, adding two to six weeks to your timeline.
