"It was a superb experience. From the visit by Bruce the sales representative to the installation day to the follow-up from Petro, every single person we interacted with was helpful and professional. When Bruce arrived to do the assessment, we spent time going over the heating needs in the house. After a thorough inspection and measurement of the house, we sat down. He showed me a few options, all of which were going to provide good service. I ordered a unit at the end of that meeting. The installation day was just terrific- the entire work crew that showed up were everything I would hope to find: Upbeat, informative, hard-working, focused. The job was finished before end of day as promised. The heater room is now immaculate, with new piping and a new heater. It was like watching a pit crew at a NASCAR race. Everyone had their tasks, they moved carefully but quickly. The materials were all laid out in order, etc. Just a totally professional approach to their work. The crew boss answered any questions I had. The follow-up for a normal inspection of the furnace chimney was scheduled the day after the installation. I’ve gotten calls to insure we are satisfied with the work. Satisfied barely covers it- I am pleased to write this kind of review. "Our service technician was David. He arrived earlier than expected and went straight to work. Our new pump was installed in less than one hour. We were pleased with the work. He came after hours 6:30pm and did not charge an exorbitant fee. He was pleasant and very informative when asked questions. If there was a topic he was not familiar with he answer "I'm not sure". I like reliable companies with professional employees. We had another plumber come earlier and wanted to charge us $452 dollars for a 1/2 HP pump that cost on average $242, $200 for accessories for installation (I paid $276 taxes included for pump and accessories), labor charge to go and pick up the pump and to install the pump. His price $1252. I was told that it was considered an emergency so that is why the price was so high. This was the morning two days after the flood. After we got the pump we called several times and no response as of yet, He's off my list completely. I share this illustration so that buyers can make educated decisions about how best to spend their money. I don't assume that the plumber whose charges were 50% higher than anyone else I called on Angies List. I simply say do your homework and know what is considered a fair price. "I had requested estimates from several companies on having a disposal repaired or replaced, but only Jiffy replied, and they did so almost immediately. They scheduled to come at the first time I was free. I received a phone call when the mechanics were on the way to my house and they were on time. Since I had given them the type of disposal that was currently installed, they brought a replacement with them, so although this was an estimate appointment, they were able to go ahead and install it, which they did. They were very polite and answered my questions. Based on what I paid 10 years ago to have the prior one installed, I'd say this was a little pricey, but it's working fine, and I'm very glad to have it taken care of."
