"Had 4 other quotes to paint the interior walls of my home.  The salesman of this company discussed everything with me and listened to my concerns.  Price was negotiated and contract signed quickly.  Sent them my color choices (from Sherman-Williams) and made the paint date May 6th (which way my earliest day available), but then I asked if they wouldn't mind doing it sooner.  They then emailed me of an earlier open date.  Paint crew arrived promptly around 8:30 AM and the crew lead talked things over with me and made sure of my color choices before going to get them while the others moved everything away from the walls and put down drop cloths.  He then came back and explained all the colors & details with his crew.  All walls were painted and everything else masked very well.  The crew completed multiple coats on all walls within the day and the job was completed way quicker than my expectations!  Would not hesitate to use them again.  It's like having a new (old) home!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

Yes, pressure-treated wood can occasionally turn green due to certain preservatives, such as copper-based chemicals, used during the treatment process. These chemicals react with the wood, creating a greenish tint. The good news? It's temporary, and the color will fade over time. Staining or painting can also help hide any unwanted hues.

It’s necessary for paint to completely dry before exposure to rain, and that drying time varies by the type of paint used. Oil-based paint takes 6 to 8 hours to dry on average, meaning that’s the minimum time needed between the last brush stroke and the first raindrop. Latex paint dries faster at around 1 hour, and acrylic paint is even quicker, usually drying in about 30 minutes. If rain is in the forecast, check the paint manufacturer's details before laying on a new coat.

Avoid using cleaning products that are abrasive or contain bleach or acidic components on composite decking to avoid discoloration. Early-generation Trex decking isn’t designed to handle pressure washer cleaning—and if you use them on second-generation boards, always use a low setting to avoid the risk of damage that can risk voiding your warranty.

Wet-sanding and dry-sanding each have pros and cons. Dry-sanding is less messy, so it’s a good option if you’re trying to minimize dust (for example, if you’re sanding an occupied home or working with particularly dry or dusty drywall mud). However, dry-sanding is quicker because you don’t have to keep rinsing a sponge or wait for it to dry before painting.

To make sure the paint won’t bubble as you apply it, make sure to paint on a day that’s cooler than 85 degrees Fahrenheit. When the temperature is too high, the paint won’t dry evenly, which can result in bubbles forming on the surface. Another way to prevent paint from bubbling is to clean the walls, apply primer, and let everything dry completely before you begin.
