"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.

In addition, the exterior of our house need to be painted and there were a great deal of shingles or trim that was rotted and needed to be replaced. George and his team did an outstanding job, kept us informed as they went along and completed everything on time and on budget. We couldn't be happier with how the house looks. "I was buying a new house, the home inspector had some questions about the attic joists and suggested I have a professional take a look at them. I needed it done quickly and I called three contractors. Matt from MMP was the only one that called me back the same day and agreed to come look at them the next day. He showed up on time, suggested a remedy and gave me an estimate. After buying the house I had him complete the work. It was done as promised in a very tight and dirty attic space, they cleaned up before leaving. I also chose Matt to replace my roof after getting three estimates. The crew did the complete job, chimney flashing, ice and water shield, small roof repair and venting channels in the attic. Clean up was great, no mess left in the yard. He was not the lowest estimate but all the work was done without any additional charges. I was very pleased with the results."

So I was pleased with how smoothly this project went from start to finish. A formal written quote was provided via email which I accepted and he scheduled the work for the following week. They completed it in less time than I thought it would take and did a great job. I will definitely use them again for future projects."

"The craftsmanship was good but all else was mind numbingly painful. If you are considering this contractor be sure to carefully inspect the contract as this contractor will 'nickel and dime' you. Every detail needs to be called out even drilling holes, as I learned, is expensive. You will need to be thick skinned as well as I was insulted several times but I just wanted the job to be over."

"Absolutely AMAZING job! We have been searching for a general contractor for almost 6 months to take care of several projects on the exterior of our home. We had worked with Stellar Painting before when our insurance company paid for a door and window repair. After a phenomenal job and a great experience, I called them again to see if, by some miracle, they could handle a list of repairs for the exterior of our home. After coming out, giving an estimate, and providing a start time - I couldn't believe how quickly everything was done! They fixed everything (and that was one heck of a list)! Our deck is so beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. Light poles that a previous masonry company installed are standing tall and proud (versus lump-sided like they have been for years now!) The list goes on. The exterior of our home looks brand new thanks to them. I can't believe how quick and easy it all was. "Eddie and his crew were very professional from the original communication (he responded quickly and actually followed up with great communication/something I was finding very hard with other potential contractors). The process with his plumbers and electricians again very professional and could tell it was high end. They are meticulous and it shows from the finished product. This was a complicated job is some ways and if came out great and we are very happy. I would highly recommend Eddie and his crew. We will be using him for future projects."

"Communication with the owners was easy and timely, but very disappointed in the attention to detail and overall oversight of the job on Redman's part with their sub-contractors. We constantly had to directly let the outside workers know of our plans even though we had already discussed items with Redman. We had to ask them to clean up after themselves (one contractor said he never owned a tarp before) and have the electrician come back numerous times to fix things. Overall timeline was met and we are happy with overall design and functionality, but had to aggressively press at the end before our move in date. Items that we were disappointed in - nails showing through new cabinetry (purchased separately), holes still showing in the plastered ceiling and recessed lighting holes cut too big, so that the lights are loose. Tile Contractor was the best by far."
