They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. If you’re considering Olde England Painting just hire them. You will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they were also the most reasonable quote I got and I met with 5 other painters. "I worked with Sandro and Color Matters Painting on several exterior projects and a minor repair on the interior that resulted from water damage. Living in New England the exterior of a home takes a beating and needs near constant repair. I recently had the roof and windows replaced in our home and needed to tackle the last project. Much of the trim around all the windows, dormers and chimney had been severely water and snow damaged and needed to be replaced. Sandro and I walked the whole house and worked out most of the repairs needed. He marked everything he could see and would change order anything that was missed. I also decided to stain the whole house along with changing the color of the trim to match the replacement windows. Sandro was quite busy, so we had to delay the start for several weeks, but he started the project on the agreed upon day and finished the exterior staining/trim painting project in a few weeks. After completion I decided to have him also repair our deck and stain the back and front decks and the pergola. As mentioned his team also repair a minor plaster hole that result from a bathroom remodel done a year before by another contractor. Sandro and his team were very professional. Communication was prompt and kept me update on any changes to the scope of work including detailed changes to the quote as necessary. Nothing was a surprise at the end of the job. I would recommend Color Matters Painting for anyone looking to do interior or exterior repair and painting. The work was top notch. I will definitely hire again should it be necessary."

"Lindo and his team are not only the best at what they do, but they're a pleasure to deal with! Our first experience with Supreme Painters was having our living room (horsehair plaster walls and crumbling plaster ceiling) completely redone, while having the plaster preserved. We got several quotes and Lindo's was not the lowest, but we felt he was the most honest person we spoke with, and opted to go with Supreme. During the job, Lindo's team was prompt, meticulous, and went above and beyond to protect other areas of the home while they worked. They smoothed all trim, sealed the walls, repaired the ceiling, skim coated everything beautifully - truly impossible to know it was ever less than perfect in a room that REALLY needed help - and it still looks just as good over three years later. Their painting was on point, and in that room, we'd had new wood windows installed. Lindo's foreman worked with us to mix stains until we found just the perfect shade to match an old fireplace, and he worked with the store to have it custom made. His crew was also on the lookout and repaired damaged or rotten deck/siding sections during prep work. The final product looks perfect. Lines were straight. No smudging or color overruns."

You know that feeling where you glance at a contractor or serviceperson and see them paying attention to a detail that most would rush through? That happened regularly on this project (working for a long time on a stubborn stain with a power washer, slowly cutting in to paint perfectly, repairing a birdhouse unprompted!). "Today the Quality Preferred Painting crew finished another job on our house. This is the 4th time we've hired them. They repainted our finished basement ceiling after we had a mold issue fixed, then sealed and repainted the inside of an exterior-facing concrete wall that had some paint damage from moisture transfer, re-painted our front door, and then prepped and re-painted the exterior trim of our house around where we had a huge bay window installed. This summer he painted our rental unit and as usual did a wonderful job - he shows up on time, is very neat, and does a very professional job. He also just power washed and stained our first floor porch, painted some new window trims that we'd just had replaced, and also repainted some of the trim around the porch even though we hadn't asked him to do so.
