"I wanted a shower expanded. George Mavridis's estimate was very competitive but I hired him because I knew he was honest, quality focused and an open communicator. He has a small crew and excellent subs so he's not super fast. But Mavridis is excellent. One example: The shower needed a new fan, vented through the attic roof. The attic boards were all cut (before my time) in half when insulation was installed. The attic floor was unstable and unsafe. George was very busy but he had his team replace the boards with plywood panels...for 20% less than I expected. Why? Because he wanted to make sure I would be happy when the job was done. I could give 4-5 other examples but you get the point. If you hire George, you'll be pleased."

"Lester and his team did a great job on our bathroom remodel. He is very detail oriented: the insides of the walls were just as neat and clean as the final finish of the walls, tile, and fixtures. And he was very easy to work with. We hand built a custom cabinet to replace the old bathroom closet. For many contractors, having a homeowner perform part of a remodel could have been difficult for them. Lester took it all in stride and adjusted his workflow to let us do our part. We are very pleased with the final result. We recommend American Bath Works highly and would hire them again in a minute."

"I purchased a new house in 2017 and as part of the negotiation with the sellers they rebuilt the porch. I was impressed with the quality of work, professionalism, and speed of which Sanfer and his team rebuilt the porch that I hired them to repaint the entire exterior of our house and the new porch. They did an exceptional and thorough job and were very responsive to the changes I requested. Since then, I've had D&S Partners rebuild part of my fence, add custom screen doors to our Pella doors, replace a bulk head, replace two interior doors (and repaint), and install a hood and gas stove in our kitchen, and remove a broken glass panel in our bathroom. Last winter the lock to our front door broke, he came with his staff the same day (it was a Sunday) to help not only fix the door but to weather proof it as well.
