"Paul and his team were absolutely fantastic! They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. If you’re considering Olde England Painting just hire them. You will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they were also the most reasonable quote I got and I met with 5 other painters. "Perfect. This was not a typical job. Normally painters paint flat surfaces. This job was to paint (stain) 62 6-sided boards installed as a pergola. I tried to do it myself but only did 4 boards before I gave up and called Target Painting. (Another company refused the job.) Gene was great, as well as all the crew. At one point, one of the painters went up on the roof to monitor the progress and inspect the hard-to-reach places. Everything was great, including the cleanup."

"Dennyâ  s and his team were punctual, hardworking, clean and pleasant. I'm taking a star off because of an issue with the stain process. Dennyâ  s likes to understand what I wanted as a client and gave options and opinions. His successful past works speak for him. I was happy with the work this team did on my deck overall, framing and boarding. The issue I have is with Staining. I purchased the oil stain and he applied it, however it rained within 2 hours pretty much the whole afternoon and night (July 29, 2021), and that cannot be good for the stain and deck I would imagine. I would have expected DC to be responsible, check the rain forecast and advice me to hold off on the staining until a good 3 day shine or weeks later when the weather is a bit more predictable. The way he decided to stain it knowing the clouds are glooming was not professional in my mind, and he shouldn't have rushed into just to complete a project. I'm fine with deferring an incomplete step in the project if he had advised me. I have contacted DC so he can propose what to do about this (re-sand it and re-stain it ideally), still waiting his response, if not, I will contact Angi for mediating."
