They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. If you’re considering Olde England Painting just hire them. You will not be disappointed. Last but not least, they were also the most reasonable quote I got and I met with 5 other painters. "I've used Steve and his crew twice before in the past, so I knew they would do quality work. After we had a giant bay window installed in our home, along with 9 replacement windows and two new construction windows, Steve's team came in to do the painting and staining of the trim and affected wall areas.
They did a great job, even under "special circumstances": my wife had a surprise birthday party for me scheduled in our home one week after they started (construction took longer than expected), and she was secretly trying to get Steve's team to rush to help make the place presentable in time. The bay window was a beast to get done, especially considering my wife decided she wanted the main shelf part stained instead of painted, and the construction crew had damage some of the wood in that area. They worked tirelessly to make it look great though, even putting in artful touches to make the damaged areas look like natural knots in the wood. I think in the end they did 5 or 6 coats of stain and poly on it to make it really gleam.
In the end they got all the visible areas done in time for the party, for which my wife was very grateful. And the work looks fabulous, as always.

"Hired DaCosta Painting to paint my family room and sunroom. Sunroom has 5 casement windows and a slider that was previously stained that I wanted painted. Also had some cracks in the walls and a section where the plaster was cracked from water damage. They came in and gave me a very reasonable quote for the work that needed to be done. They repaired all of the cracks, painted the ceiling, walls, and trim and did a great job. Owner was very responsive and gave us his suggestions on color and finish. They are going to quote to paint the front of my house this spring. I would definitely hire them again."

"Leonardo was extremely accommodating. I called him on a Thursday and needed a 1500 sq ft condo painted by the following Friday. We met on Saturday, he quoted me on Sunday. Was fair with pricing and his men started Monday morning. He went above and beyond. He even helped me paint an additional ceiling ( that was not included in the original quote)and stained a railing (because he thought it would look better) at no extra charge. "It went very well. I had some water damage on my ceiling in my Kitchen. My kitchen and dinning and living room share the same ceiling and I had other painters price me for the whole ceiling, Sean came in and said he could "feather it in" so I would only have to do the Kitchen saving me more than half the costs. He did that and I can't tell where he ended also the water stains are gone!! He's a nice guy and knows his profession!! Would definitely recommend him!"
