"Perfect. This was not a typical job. Normally painters paint flat surfaces. This job was to paint (stain) 62 6-sided boards installed as a pergola. I tried to do it myself but only did 4 boards before I gave up and called Target Painting. (Another company refused the job.) Gene was great, as well as all the crew. At one point, one of the painters went up on the roof to monitor the progress and inspect the hard-to-reach places. Everything was great, including the cleanup."

"I have used 4 painting companies over the years including a national well known chain, NONE were ever as good as Costa Painting!! Details, details, details thatâ s what Costa excels at. Their crew were professional, polite and just HARD WORKERS! Nothing was beyond their capabilities. They brought test paints and stains, they left everything spotless and accommodated last minute changes without reservation. Iâ ll give just one example of them going above and beyond, while power washing the house for paint one brick chimney had heavy deposits of tree sap extensively covering it. "Excellent communication throughout, Ozzy and his painter (Gustavo) went above and beyond. You know that feeling where you glance at a contractor or serviceperson and see them paying attention to a detail that most would rush through? That happened regularly on this project (working for a long time on a stubborn stain with a power washer, slowly cutting in to paint perfectly, repairing a birdhouse unprompted!). Price was very reasonable and we couldn't be happier. This kind of service is (sadly) very rare these days. A true gem."

"Dennyâ  s and his team were punctual, hardworking, clean and pleasant. I'm taking a star off because of an issue with the stain process. Dennyâ  s likes to understand what I wanted as a client and gave options and opinions. His successful past works speak for him. I was happy with the work this team did on my deck overall, framing and boarding. The issue I have is with Staining. I purchased the oil stain and he applied it, however it rained within 2 hours pretty much the whole afternoon and night (July 29, 2021), and that cannot be good for the stain and deck I would imagine. I would have expected DC to be responsible, check the rain forecast and advice me to hold off on the staining until a good 3 day shine or weeks later when the weather is a bit more predictable. The way he decided to stain it knowing the clouds are glooming was not professional in my mind, and he shouldn't have rushed into just to complete a project. I'm fine with deferring an incomplete step in the project if he had advised me. I have contacted DC so he can propose what to do about this (re-sand it and re-stain it ideally), still waiting his response, if not, I will contact Angi for mediating."
