And he was very easy to work with. We hand built a custom cabinet to replace the old bathroom closet. For many contractors, having a homeowner perform part of a remodel could have been difficult for them. Lester took it all in stride and adjusted his workflow to let us do our part. We are very pleased with the final result. We recommend American Bath Works highly and would hire them again in a minute."

"The initial build went reasonably well. We did find problems which they did come back and fix. I noticed a railing support that was cracked. I was told that I must of done it, that was that. The plugs that cover the screw holes in the stairs are falling out. I looked for some at Home Depot, but couldn't find the right color. I still had Chase's cell #, so I texted him and asked if he could send me some plugs, and I would do it myself. No response. Tried again the next day, still no response. I'm not surprised. Aging the build was decent, price was higher than most. Now that nearly 2 years have gone by, and customer service should be anticipated, nothing. Never again."

Not only was I expecting him to refinish my hardwood floors, I was asking him to come in and work miracles to repair the damage done by another contractor who had a damaged machine created wavy distortions to my floors. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone in need of hardwood flooring installation or refinishing."
