"We live in a 1940s Cape and wanted to open up our downstairs and expand our kitchen. We also wanted to switch our downstairs full bath and upstairs 1/2 bath, and to add a third bedroom upstairs. In addition to quoting us the best price, Bauman Remodeling was also the only contractor to suggest vaulting our upstairs ceilings (and the only one not intimidated by our wish to keep our steam radiators). The extra ceiling height upstairs ended up being one of the best results from our remodel; we no longer feel like we're in an attic. Another highlight is the built-in around our fireplace. It looks like it's always been here. In fact, something of great importance to us during this remodel was making sure that anything new to the house fit the existing parts, and Mike did everything possible to make that happen, including traveling to multiple stores to find just the right moulding. Lou made them look beautiful again! He was very honest about what he could and could not make perfect and his work always exceeded my expectations. Lou was careful to keep his work area very clean, cleaned up after himself daily and protected my other living areas by sheeting off the rooms he was refinishing. The final finish is so beautiful, with four coats of satin urethane, I think they look better than the factory finish. I would highly recommend Lou to anyone in need of hardwood flooring installation or refinishing."

"These guys were fantastic. We had replaced our kitchen tile without using Angi’s two years ago. They did a terrible job, not lining the tiles properly, not grouting properly, and they didn’t remove the issues at the base of the tiles, so overtime our tiles were cracking. The contractor had promised us he’d come back to finish the grouting when he left in Friday, but asked for payment. New homeowner mistake, I paid him. He never responded to my messages after that. ALV came in the same day I posted on Angi’s, gave a reasonable quote, and then bought the tiles we were looking at the next day. 3 days later, the project is complete, the grout finished, everything looks fantastic. 10/10 would use these guys again."
