"Excellent! We hired Sanfer and his team after meeting with him a few times and checking references. We really liked his can-do attitude and flexibility. He was easy to talk to and had some design ideas that we chose over the architects. He is a strong builder, meaning he doesnt skimp on making it well made. That was important to me. He has a really great finish carpenter too. Shout out to Edgard! Our remodel was a 4 room, bathroom, 2 floor addition (now a walk out basement/first floor) to accommodate an inlaw apt on the ground floor and office and living room on the first. We also had a small elevator added between the two floors. The pricing was right down the middle compared to others. The elevator installers remarked that the hoistway was the best built they had worked with, which was important since it needed to be within a quarter inch of plumb at any point. We used Sanfer for other smaller add ons and would hire them again for a large or smaller job."

"Our project consisted of the conversion of two bedrooms and a spare room into a Primary Suite, with Bedroom, Bathroom, walk-in closet and separate laundry. From the moment we started to the finish, we were continually in awe of the coordination with and by Ryan, the pleasure of working with his top tier crew and subs, and the finished product. As the start date approached, Ryan made the decision to start two weeks early, in consideration of finishing prior to Thanksgiving. He dealt easily with unique questions from the local Historical Committee, and finished the project exactly on schedule. Our house is over 100 years old, and we were interested in maintaining the charm, while providing all the modern amenities. The result is outstanding, and due in large part to the inputs from Ryan and his team. Our tile and shower install by Lance is perfect. Original doorknobs were retrofitted onto every new door. Where doorways into adjacent rooms were removed – you can’t tell they were ever there. Josh from Charbot Electric showed us some options, and the resulting lighting and electric solutions adapted perfectly. New plumbing was run using existing chase-ways through the house that resulted in significantly less contingency and really clean work. We watched in admiration as Dale cut out a section of wall with one hand and sucked up any dust with a vacuum in his other hand. And the wall repair later is invisible. We happily converted heat from hybrid baseboard and radiator steam to just baseboard. And it was finished off in grand form with wallpaper by Tim, and matched to the house new or refinished hardwood floors by Drago. We enjoyed our interaction with every person assigned to our project, and had zero negative interactions over three months. Cost mattered to us. We met with several builders, several of whom told us it was too complicated to make any commitments. Ryan, after some thought and a fresh design, presented a fair and reasonable proposal to a complex job with several unknowns. Contingencies were controlled. We certainly exceeded the amenity allowance in order to maintain the charm and meet our vision, but overall, we got an awesome return on our investment and every decision was our own. We anticipate another major project in two years. We will not call anyone but Ryan Norman and his team of consummate professionals."

"Absolutely AMAZING job! We have been searching for a general contractor for almost 6 months to take care of several projects on the exterior of our home. We had worked with Stellar Painting before when our insurance company paid for a door and window repair. After a phenomenal job and a great experience, I called them again to see if, by some miracle, they could handle a list of repairs for the exterior of our home. After coming out, giving an estimate, and providing a start time - I couldn't believe how quickly everything was done! They fixed everything (and that was one heck of a list)! Our deck is so beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. Light poles that a previous masonry company installed are standing tall and proud (versus lump-sided like they have been for years now!) "When we started our plan of remodeling, the first thing we did was the complete roof replacement including kitchen vent & duct pipe installation to the roof, and new installation of attic ventilation. MMP did not only completed it just as agreed but also very efficiently. The crews were friendly, professional, and careful. The jobs were carefully managed and implemented effectively. I was impressed by Matt, who is the manager, and he does an outstanding job in managing the crews and the progress of the situation, and the communication was clear and always to the point. We then moved to initiate a search for a contractor of two bathrooms remodeling after completing the roof and attic vent, MMP was one of the many candidates. Matt has had not only the best idea and proposals but also shown an impressive & professional sense of evaluating the project accurately, including the possible structural modification as well as a competitive estimate of the cost of the build. His proposal included a rebuild of a wall of the bathroom to expand another one adjacent to it. Matt accepted to use my schematic design image (made with a software tool) and a spreadsheet list of the fixtures that I created - as many as fifty items including TOTO, Grohe, American Standard, Panasonic, and IKEA - to start the job (later changed some of them due to local plumbing code compliance) After beginning the bathroom remodel project, Matt shared what jobs will be done with us timely and efficiently via text so that we feel comfortable enough in knowing what is going on while living in the house of dust & noise from remodeling. The crews, Zen and Mark, were very courteous, extensively experienced, reliable, and friendly with excellent communication, sometimes with songs of 80s rock music. They ask me when more precise specifications are needed and notified me when they feel advance notifications are required. When a change is necessary due to inspection, they informed me and clarified what and why. I have never felt uncomfortable in living together with the remodel job which has lasted over four months. The completed two bathrooms were stunning, just as I imagined. Matt, Zen, and Mark have proved their strong & thoughtful expertise and lived up with my request patiently until completion. Great job. "My pressure treated deck needed replacement. I got 3 bids which I was considering but was told by a friend to check out Remodel or Renew. Mike Christopher, the Owner, came and asked me what was the main thing I was concerned about. I told him that I was looking for quality workmanship with top of the line Trex composite wood that wouldnâ  t require a lot of maintenance. He sat down with his IPad and designed exactly what I wanted. The design he made was like an actual picture of the finished product and the price was great which included the removal and disposal of the former deck. This is the first time Iâ  ve EVER reviewed a business that has done work on our home. They deserve it! First, their builders worked long hours and I observed them as they made sure every step was done with precise measurements and the finished product showed just what I observed. Unbelievably sturdy, they didnâ  t cut corners to save time and it was absolutely beautiful. Also what I consider a huge factor is the Warranties on the work and material. A 25 year Warranty that covers scratching and fading of the Trex flooring and railings. UNBELIEVABLE! Lastly, they left the work area cleaner than before they started and Mike the Owner answered my calls or texts every time I had a question either immediately or responded within 15 minutes. All I can say about Remodel or Renew is if you give them a chance to bid on your project you will be happy and even happier if you hire them and see for yourself what I have just told you! "Tom and his team did a magnificent job on two projects for us. First was the kitchen remodel which included knocking down a walk, flooring and painting if the whole first floor. In addition, they designed the decorative molding on the walls in the dining room, put in a new front door and french doors, and painted our stair railings. It is a whole new house. We thought we couldn't be happier, but then Tom and crew came back and turned a decrepit 3 season porch into the most beautiful screened in porch. Tom does a great job providing suggestions and communicating the timeline. If things change, which they always will no matter how best you plan, he made sure to communicate the changes quickly. Alex, the carpenter, is amazing and meticulous. Perry did an amazing job painting. We will continue to hire Tom and his team as projects arise.
