Ron, of R&A Home Improvements, was very prompt in responding to our project. When he came to the house he was very cordial. We liked that Ron first asked what we wanted to accomplish. Then he proceeded to clearly describe how he would go about accomplishing it. Ron had a quote to us later the next day that mirrored what he had explained when we met. We were happy with the quote. Ron and his crew arrived as planned. Ron and his crew were polite, efficient and skilled. They completed the job when planned. The finished project was excellent! We are very pleased with the work they did and they were very neat in cleaning up the area. Ron and his team at R&A home improvement completely demolished our old wooden deck and built our beautiful new 2-level deck and patio in North Reading, MA. From the initial consultation about our concept to the finished product, Ron and his team were communicative, reliable and hard-working. John, the architect, drew a great plan and Ron and his team executed it so beautifully. It was a very hot summer and the guys were outside M-F from early in the morning to well into the evening. Whenever there was a change in plan or something he wanted to run by us, Ron reached out and discussed these with us effectively and in a timely fashion. He and his team are meticulous and highly skilled craftsmen and I highly recommend working with R&A home improvement for your decking needs.

We had a great experience with R&A Home Improvements. Ron and crews demo our old deck and rebuilt a new bigger deck. They are very professional, speedy and very detailed oriented in the project. The deck turned out amazing. Price is also reasonable. Highly recommended.

I sent requests to five contractors for quotes. Ron was the first to respond and although not the lowest quote was almost $10,000 less than two others( one contractor was a no show) His professionalism, sincerity and knowledge of the Trex product was apparent. Despite the rain, the work was completed in a month , from my signing a contract, his obtaining the building permit, getting the special order Trex Transcend. Hi screw Lester, Louie and Henry were respectful,hardworking and cleaned up at the end each day . I can’t wait to enjoy my new deck.

Ron and his crew are top notch! The work was done on time and for the quoted amount. He and his team were very courteous and professional and were sure to clean up when finished each day. Ron installed vinyl siding to our house and PVC on all windows and trim. Not to mention they took off our gutters and painted them like new before attaching them. They went above and beyond. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

It's been a few weeks since the front porch was finished and still I'm euphoric with the results. The porch itself was of an unusual design not seen often in this area. From a photo and a couple of design discussions, Ron was able to design a beautifully proportioned unit that looks like it belongs with the house. From the outstanding selection of materials, not from a big box, to the fine workmanship and carpentry skills displayed. I've been getting compliments about the porch regularly. The crew arrived on time and let their hammers and saws talk for them with no loud music, no loud conversations. Respectful and polite, they worked in less than ideal conditions including snow and single digit temperatures. All questions and concerns I had were addressed quickly and calmly. To summarize: 1. The project was renovation and refresh of two bathrooms. Ron's estimate was very reasonable and worked with me to achieve the look I wanted. His team was respectful, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Adhered to the work schedule and everyday cleanup was efficient. I am very happy with the final product and anticipate using them in the future.

Our porch / overhang needed replacement as we were having new siding done, so we hired R & A Home Improvements to take down the old one and build a new one. Ron and his team did a wonderful job! They were able to start the job right away, and completed the job on time. The porch looks great! Ron and his crew were super polite and respectful during the whole process, they took the time to explain their work, and cleaned up everything as well. Project consisted of demolition and removal of precast entry steps and large concrete base slab, repairing the wall behind the unit, and construction of a small deck and wooden steps to provide a sturdy and attractive front entry unit. The construction crew proved to be very component and professional and knowledgeable of all building codes and were very cordial

Came and finished on time. Cleaned up daily. Hard working crew
