"We worked with WR Builders, Inc for remodeling our kitchen and sunroom in September 2026. Our project manager was friendly and communicative & responded to our queries promptly. The majority of the subcontractors were good though we did have some issues with the timely completion of work. However, WR Builders, Incmade sure to stay on top of the sub-contractors and that all the work that we had agreed upon was completed. We went with WR Builders, Inc recommended vendors for wooden flooring and cabinets and were pleased with the options offered. They made recommendations to better the space and were mindful of our budget. The one thing that really sets them apart is that they really care about client satisfaction and they addressed our questions and concerns and got us the answers we needed. Overall, we are satisfied with the work and love our kitchen and the sunroom!"

"I am a licensed MA builder and remodeler. I work with a network of trusted contractors. D&S Construction is one of my frequent partners. We have worked on exterior and interior projects, additions, bathrooms, kitchens, decks, repairs, basement remodels, and more. Sanfer Rocha and his team have an outstanding work ethic. He prices his work fairly and does great work. If you want a quick, sloppy job, you need to look elsewhere. There are many contractors who will work cheap and their results reflect the price and attitude. D&S Construction is the rare company performing excellent work at a reasonable price. Sanfer refuses to do things any way but the RIGHT way. His quality is top notch. He treats his subcontractors fairly and they return the favor by doing great work. Sanfer and his team are extremely considerate of customers' properties and always leave the job site clean and neat, whether he is coming back the next day or wrapping up on the final day. "I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"The Curtice Group finished our bathroom renovation in early April 2023. We can give a wholehearted positive review for Scott Curtice’s coordination of the project including keeping to and even improving upon the original schedule, cost transparency throughout, and thoughtful approaches to both design as well as any problems encountered. Scott was an excellent communicator all through the work, being both accessible and responsive to our concerns and questions. Proficient management of the timing of subcontractors by Scott and his project managers was key to the success of the process. All of the above contributed to a great result. The bathroom work included a complete change in the location of the original plumbing and an extension into another room. Scott designed a bathroom that fits our needs, which includes a lot of storage as well as a feeling of spaciousness in what is not really a big space. At the outset, he recommended vendors, always with the caveat that we could choose our own. He also accompanied us to a vendor for the main plumbing components of the bathroom. For access during the work, he created a temporary entrance that would allow access to the work site without going through the rest of the house. In addition to the bathroom, we changed multiple interior doors, replaced the original basement windows and door, changed multiple lighting fixtures and did additional carpentry work. We also addressed remedial plumbing problems in the basement as well as in another bathroom."

"George is absolutely the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is pleasant, professional, detail oriented, a great problem solver and a master at all of his crafts. He provides detailed descriptions and costs of all the work to be done. He and his crew completely gutted the kitchen in our 1890 Victorian home. Because of settling, our floors and ceiling were less than level. George and his crew were brilliant about solving the issue. No more slanted floors and squeaks. He made the installation of the cabinetry look effortless. He also created a much needed laundry room for us. We absolutely love our kitchen. George and his crew are a delight to work with."

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.

"We hired John R Elander & Son to perform an attic renovation for our house.  The work was performed by Rob Elander (John's son). The attic was completely unfinished and needed everything - floors, walls, HVAC, plumbing, bathroom, skylights etc.  We got 7 estimates prior to choosing Rob. Rob's price was fair and in the lower / middle range of the other estimates. He also gave us tips on where to save money with design needs. Throughout the entire project Rob was present and punctual. He always picked up the phone to answer questions. He has an easy going personality.  We always knew what the plan was for the day and week and who was coming. He was readily available at all times. The work was done very professionally. His subcontractors were professional. We had a few changes to our plans during the process which necessitated revising some of the work and plans and Rob was very willing to work with us during the process. We had periodic discussions on design issues and he was able to accomplish what we were seeking. The work was completed over 6 months ago now and we have not noticed any issues and are thrilled with the outcome. We would recommend Rob as a contractor without reservation and would use him again in the future.
