"Perry Brothers Construction was overall, a pleasure to work with. They were always professional and responded quickly to my concerns. Their team and subcontractors did quality work and notified me promptly of any conflicts, with proposed solutions. Communication with the team was a breeze. I would definitely contact Perry Brothers for future work."

"This is the 4th time I have hired SILMAC for a project, and this was the largest job by far - a full gut renovation of my kitchen, adding a powder room, and putting on an addition with a laundry/mudroom. I’m so pleased with how everything turned out - it is truly the space I had dreamed about when I bought the house! Joe and his crew are extremely reliable and responsive. It’s inevitable that bumps in the road will arise during a large renovation like this, especially in an old house, but Joe was proactive in addressing them and always kept me informed. His level of service truly stands out! It doesn’t surprise me that he has over 200 reviews and nearly a 5 star rating - he is that good! You will not be disappointed hiring SILMAC for your next project."

The quality of their workmanship is exceptional, and they were always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our satisfaction. "I am a licensed MA builder and remodeler. I work with a network of trusted contractors. D&S Construction is one of my frequent partners. We have worked on exterior and interior projects, additions, bathrooms, kitchens, decks, repairs, basement remodels, and more. Sanfer Rocha and his team have an outstanding work ethic. He prices his work fairly and does great work. If you want a quick, sloppy job, you need to look elsewhere. There are many contractors who will work cheap and their results reflect the price and attitude. D&S Construction is the rare company performing excellent work at a reasonable price. Sanfer refuses to do things any way but the RIGHT way. His quality is top notch. He treats his subcontractors fairly and they return the favor by doing great work. Sanfer and his team are extremely considerate of customers' properties and always leave the job site clean and neat, whether he is coming back the next day or wrapping up on the final day. He has my highest recommendation. D&S Construction is unlikely to be the cheapest estimate you receive; they are quite likely to be the best value and best experience."

"John and his team gutted two bedrooms and a bathroom for us. They brought all rooms down to studs, insulated, fixed structural issues that we were unaware, and brought our house back to life from the floor to the ceilings. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. They stuck to the budget that was initially set, and were able to complete our home renovation on time, with lots of care and attention to detail. John and the guys were always on time, and very responsive to any questions or concerns we had. 10/10 would recommend this crew to anyone looking to do home or commercial projects, and we look forward to having them back for more!"

"I was happy with the work done by Matt and his crew on my roof replacement. Of the highlights, Matt excelled at customer service. I had spoken to several contractors during the bidding process and Matt clearly stood out as someone to provide detailed guidance and credible advice on the project. As my roof was being replaced as part of an insurance claim, Matt took the initiative to bring in additional contractors to build out an initial estimate for all of the work, to get things moving with the insurance company, which was a huge help. Matt took things a bit further and spoke directly with the insurance company regarding details of my roof and other work that was not started yet and was able to help me gain significantly more coverage than originally provided! Matt was always available for questions and promptly returned my calls and emails throughout the process. In one instance, I had requested that they hold off on installation of the ice and water shield one day due to the cold temperatures. Matt agreed to this with no hesitation, even though it required them to work the weekend to complete the work. Per my inspection throughout the roofing process and after, everything looked good and I found only a few things that were missed, which Matt took care of immediately. Some mess and nails were left behind after the work, but it was fairly minimal. Due to the scale of the work, Matt / MMP did bring in subcontractors to perform much of the standard roofing work. I would have appreciated if MMP was more forthcoming about this earlier in the process. MMP had someone from their team on-site for the entire process, but I think that they could have kept a closer eye on the sub-contractors work. For the more challenging tasks, Matt came out and did the work himself. He and his team worked hard throughout the process, working long hours and through the weekend to get everything completed in a timely manner and reduce risk of water leakage in case of rain. I will certainly consider MMP for future work on my house."

"The Curtice Group were excellent throughout the project. Scott Curtice was extremely helpful, engaged and communicative through entire project, with many great practical and aesthetic ideas on design, fixture selection, execution (minimizing disruption to remainder of house not being worked, considering living space arrangements while half of house/bedrooms/bathrooms out of use, and setting up a temporary laundry) and finishes. He was cost conscious and fully transparent about pricing and the effect of various choices and selections throughout, while remaining happy to go ahead with whatever choices we made after weighing on the pros and cons. His project manager Vassili was also great to work with, also very thoughtful about both the functional aspects of the project as well as the look. The final result has exceeded our expectations. The work also progressed steadily, without being left for any period without contractors or subcontractors moving things along, and stayed to the planned tight schedule (taking about 8 months for entire project)"

"George is absolutely the best contractor we have ever worked with. He is pleasant, professional, detail oriented, a great problem solver and a master at all of his crafts. He provides detailed descriptions and costs of all the work to be done. He and his crew completely gutted the kitchen in our 1890 Victorian home. Because of settling, our floors and ceiling were less than level. George and his crew were brilliant about solving the issue. No more slanted floors and squeaks. He made the installation of the cabinetry look effortless. He also created a much needed laundry room for us. We absolutely love our kitchen. George and his crew are a delight to work with."

"Very well.  I acted as general contractor after my builder disappeared in the middle of the job.  I had some good contractors and some not so good ones.  HS Plastering and Painting was at the top of the good list.  The quality of their work was very good; no complaints there at all.  But what stood out was the experience of working with them.  They came when asked, did what they were asked to do, acted in a professional manner, stood by their work, and were a true pleasure to have as a contractor.  They were quick, worked weekends to get the job done, and didn't cut corners.
In fact, my realtor liked them so much that she asked for their contact information for other houses that she works on.

Qualified, licensed electricians will charge from $50 to $100 per hour. The cost to hire an electrician for emergency visits may range from $100 to $200 per hour because this urgent service usually takes place during off hours and may require an electrician to leave or reschedule jobs they’re currently working on. Scheduling work on holidays or during periods of high customer demand, like after a major storm, will also lead to higher rates or extra fees.
