His attitude was friendly and engaging, and he carefully assessed our problem and made suggestions about the best way to proceed. They were so courteous and respectful and meticulous in their prep and carpentry work- and we had A LOT of things that needed fixing like rotted windowsills, broken deck stairs, incomplete trim moulding, broken shingles and a crooked garage cupola. They fixed it all! Now my 115 year old house looks so beautiful and I can’t thank Paul and his team enough. They were also so tidy and cleaned up their work areas every afternoon before they left. "Peter came out to my house to give me my estimate. We walked the property together so he could ask any necessary questions about the paint job. Peter noticed some rotted boards that was present that I haven't noticed before. He told me not to worry his guys could take care of that too. He explained how they prepped the house so the paint job lasted. Peter was very knowledgeable when he was explaining the whole paint process. When his guys showed up for work they were very polite and professional. Everyday before it ended they spent about a hour cleaning up and picking up the yard so it was presentable and moved the ladders close to the house so the kids didn't get hurt while playing in the yard. I will be needing the interior of my house painted and North Shore Painting will be the only phone call for that task."

"The Target team was really extraordinary. They brought very talented preparation people to the job for starters -- anybody that paints knows this is the most critical step! The caulking, careful sanding and scraping, the carpentry to replace any rotted trim (I had some, so it was convenient they had the carpenters right in the company). Then into the painting, and here Target really distinguished themselves. We changed colors and went semi-gloss on the trim (requires a little more skill to apply it and have it look great in the end). The guys worked incredibly hard, you can tell they take a lot of pride in what they do! They also did my deck which needed a lot of work. In the end? My house looks AMAZING. Caulked tight, great new colors, incredibly skilled painting. They communicate really clearly throughout the whole process, they even have a quality check at the end by one of the veterans just to walk the whole job, review everything and make sure that I as the customer was happy. This is a great company, I can't recommend them highly enough."

"Dennyâ  s and his team were punctual, hardworking, clean and pleasant. I'm taking a star off because of an issue with the stain process. Dennyâ  s likes to understand what I wanted as a client and gave options and opinions. His successful past works speak for him. I was happy with the work this team did on my deck overall, framing and boarding. The issue I have is with Staining. I purchased the oil stain and he applied it, however it rained within 2 hours pretty much the whole afternoon and night (July 29, 2021), and that cannot be good for the stain and deck I would imagine. I would have expected DC to be responsible, check the rain forecast and advice me to hold off on the staining until a good 3 day shine or weeks later when the weather is a bit more predictable. The way he decided to stain it knowing the clouds are glooming was not professional in my mind, and he shouldn't have rushed into just to complete a project. I'm fine with deferring an incomplete step in the project if he had advised me. I have contacted DC so he can propose what to do about this (re-sand it and re-stain it ideally), still waiting his response, if not, I will contact Angi for mediating."

"This is the 2nd time I used Quality Preferred Painting to paint one of my apartment turnovers. The last time there was some tricky work to do. The walls were naturally colored red brick that I wanted painted white. Steve knew exactly what to use and the process to make these walls beautiful. I was so impressed with the quality of work and overall service the 1st time that I decided to get in touch with Steve again to paint another apartment. This time I was under a tight time line as the new tenant was moving in on Sunday, so I only had a few days to get the work done. Although this is a very busy time of year for the company, Steve assured me that the apartment will get done for me before the tenant moves in. The Quality Preferred crew worked late in to Saturday night to make this happen. Steve met with me to look at the job and agreed to do it on an hourly basis with an estimated amount of hours. When the job was done Steve sent me pictures of the finish product and told me the job went well and it took less hours than he estimated so the cost would be less than originally projected. Since I live down the Cape and had no knowledge of the time spent on the work, this honesty was especially appreciated. The work was meticulous, as usual and Steve made what is usually a chore, a very pleasant experience. Will definitely be using Quality Preferred Painting again the next time a project comes up."

"Erivan has done a lot of painting over the years for our triple decker - exterior and interior. This summer he painted our rental unit and as usual did a wonderful job - he shows up on time, is very neat, and does a very professional job. He also just power washed and stained our first floor porch, painted some new window trims that we'd just had replaced, and also repainted some of the trim around the porch even though we hadn't asked him to do so. It looks great! Erivan takes great pride in his work and we always feel like he's taking care of our home as if it is his own. He is also a very warm and friendly person."
