"In January 2023, Steve Durkiewicz stepped into a project that had previously become a financial nightmare and turned it into the dream project that we had first imagined. We had previously hired and paid ($1,765.00) a different person/business that claimed to be a licensed and experienced electrician, to install new lighting in our kitchen and home office, as well as install recessed lighting in our family room. But the job was a disaster, unprofessional and substandard - e.g. all electrical wiring was incorrect, ceiling drywall wire routing in relation to studs/framing was incorrect (i.e. ceiling drywall could not be repaired due to lack of space), etc. Steve came in and repaired all of that. The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve."

"I had an overloaded kitchen circuit shoot fire through a receptacle (and melt the whole thing down) a few days before I went on a European trip. I managed to use extension cords to keep my kitchen going until I returned. I had notified several companies before I left but I did not understand what "Flat Pricing" meant. BoBo contacted me directly through an email I supplied on the Next Door app and I arranged for their services when I returned. Two young fellows arrived on time with all the equipment needed. They assessed my problem and offered several solutions and quoted prices for each one and I just said: "What would you do if this were your house?" They "split" (re-wired) the overworked circuit into 3 separate dedicated lines, provided me with 3 GFI receptacles for the kitchen and replaced all of the mis-matched circuit breakers in my electrical panel. They were an awesome team to watch: knowledgeable, efficient and they worked quickly"

"We did a remodel of our Kitchen and Master bath. The kitchen was a big project, taking out a wall and removing the back door, enlarging our bay to accommodate sliding doors. New countertops, cabinets and an island were installed. Tile was removed from the kitchen/ foyer and replaced with hardwood floors. They gave us a time frame for 4 months. We added on painting, carpet installation. tiling a hallway and new vanity and toilet in the half bath. They accommodated the extra work and completed it in a timely manner, without interruption for other jobs. We could not be more pleased with the work. Everything turned out beautifully. Terry, Jody and Brian were a pleasure to work with. They were reliable, on time and cleaned up daily. Jody is a perfectionist and if something wasn't done right it would be redone to meet his standards. They were helpful with design and handled every add on. They did not ask for money up front and kept cost updated frequently."

"I am expressing my disappointment with the recent window installation service at my home. Out of the five windows installed, two were incorrectly sized, and these windows were of most concern (those in my daughter?s bedroom). These windows are noticeably smaller compared to the other windows in the room, which is immediately apparent. Before the installation, I made it clear that I was concerned about the workmanship, and I specifically asked for this to be done correctly given the issues with draftiness in the older windows, which are located right next to my daughter's bed. This issue was one of my main reasons for replacing them. I firmly expected that the new windows would be properly sized and sealed, but I now have doubts that these will even hold up. I'd expect in five year these windows will also become drafty. In the attached pictured in can be clearly seen the windows are about an 1" to an 1.5" smaller and all around expandable foam was added to make it work."
