"I hired Frank from Small Jobs and he was extremely knowledgeable , friendly and efficient. He assembled an elliptical bike for me and did an amazing job! I spoke to several other handymen prior to speaking with Frank and they were extremely rude and arrogant. While speaking to Frank I knew he was the right person. His professionalism and demeanor sealed the deal."

"I would like to say that Frank Mannelli and his crew were very professional and did a very good job on the handyman services that I hired them to do. they were on time and very neat. The prices were reasonable and the services were beyond measure as far as extra work they did for me that I needed.I would recommend them to anyone that may need some home repairs. Thank you Frank for a job well done. I have already scheduled him to come back for more work that I need done.He also promised to do some small adjustments at my home that I suggested. I am looking forward to bringing you back again."

Small jobs welcome

"Abo was very efficient and pleasant. It got this done in about 2-1/2 hours. It would of taken me days. I had hired 7 handymen through wayfair and all bailed on me. Thank you Angie's for finding Abo for me."

"We used Silver Hammer Services for several jobs. His employees made some major mistakes (they had to re-do a complete shower tile job, and faulty bathtub plumbing caused a leak through ceiling below). Robert did follow through and made the necessary fixes even though they caused some lengthly delays. There was one exception. We had Robert install a new bathroom door. It started to stick and would not close unless a forceful pull or push was made (therefore it was very loud). We asked him to look at it. He agreed it was sticking and said he would have one of his men take a look and fix it. More than three months later, after numerous texts and verbal assurances he would fix it, nothing had been done. Excuses were given, including staffing problems and a busy schedule. We finally had to hire our own handyman at a cost of $172 to get the door fixed."

Handyman Services questions, answered by experts

To install or move washer and dryer hookups, you will likely need a combination of professionals. A plumber can handle the water supply lines and drain pipes. If you have a gas dryer, a plumber certified for gas lines or an HVAC specialist will be needed to run the gas line. An electrician is required to install the correct electrical outlets. For simpler jobs, a local handyperson may suffice, while a contractor might be needed for tasks like drywall repair for the new vents.

Yes, you can use a dremel tool to cut plexiglass. Follow the instructions under “How to Cut Plexiglass with a Saw,” and use a dremel tool with a 561 bit instead of a saw.

While a handyperson will do the odd small job for your home, a maintenance person is responsible for conducting regular inspections and repairs. Maintenance people may come in to do small fixes and diagnose any issues you might be facing, but may not have all the same technical abilities as a handyperson.

After cutting Corian® to the right size, you may have to attach it to another piece of Corian®, either at a corner or another seam. One way to create the tightest seam is to place the two pieces of Corian® on a level surface at ⅜-inch apart. Run a router in between the two slabs to create an identical edge on both pieces. Then use the proper DuPont Joint Adhesive for your type of seam and countertop to join the Corian® together.

From drywall repair to fixture installations, pros address diverse home maintenance needs.
