"Started with a depressing and ugly attic bathroom and finished with an ipdated modern and beautiful bathroom.   Lots of assistance as I struggled to find the right lights, tiles. fixtures and kept trying to help me make the right choices.  It's a real skill when a contractor can stop and listen to the client and Pawel does just that.

"Nick was very responsive to voicemails and actually gave a lot of information over the phone - including suggesting that the issue may be a fire hazard and that she should probably unplug the fridge for safety. They came out the next day. Nick and Adrian took the time to explain what they were doing each step of the way. They showed her the parts that were bad and asked in advance of doing additional cleaning. Very professional and knowledgeable. Even looked at a secondary problem that the fridge was having. We have a working fridge with very clean coils again!"

"They are conveniently located close by.  Three of them had come out and there was an older gentleman and I liked the way he talked.  They make things work.  The work they did was great and I have had no problems whatsoever.  They showed up on time.  The staff was very friendly.  They were very professional, and they knew what they were doing.  I would use them again in the future if I needed to."

"Because we had had such a good experience with them, we ended up signing up for an annual maintenance program that includes doing annual inspections on the air conditioner and the furnace and looking at the water heater and reduce prices on other jobs around the house."

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

Eco-friendly materials include sustainably-sourced woods, recycled metals, low-VOC paints, and non-toxic sealants, which reduce environmental impact. Using these in repairs promotes sustainability and can improve indoor air quality and overall building health.

Adding burnt charcoal to your garden beds and plant pots can yield several benefits, but there are risks involved, too. Charcoal, particularly biochar, can enhance soil structure, improve water drainage, and increase nutrient retention. When activated, charcoal provides key nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, burnt charcoal, especially from briquettes, can inadvertently alter soil's pH levels and become hazardous to plants. Overall, there are better and less risky soil amendments available, such as vermiculite, perlite, or wood chips.

Minor fixes like patching leaks or repainting are DIY-friendly, but structural repairs require professional expertise.

In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.
