Best roofers near Wheeling, IL

"John was the first one to answer my call said he would be happy to come out and look at my roof. I had a small leak that came inside the house. I had someone else come out and tried to see if I was able to get a new roof. Not enough damage. I called John back and he was here when he said he was I'm very happy with what he did to repair the roof. Thank you very much Bruce"

"My new roof was completed on Monday, June 19. Not only was Estate Exteriors the best estimate of choice, but their work was exceptional! My neighbor commented on how precise they were in measuring and replacing a few wood roof panels as needed. They were extremely careful with clean-up. I have a dog, so am happy there were NO nails found in my yard, and all bits of roofing materials were picked up. It was a pleasure working with Eugene. I found him to be very honest and appreciated his advise. I HIGHLY recommend Estate Exteriors Inc. to anyone considering repairing or replacing their roof. Jan M. Naperville"

"Sergio and his team did an amazing job on our roof. They explained everything in detail, showed me what needed to be replaced once they opened the roof up and completed everything in two days. The whole team was incredibly professional and very responsive. Highly recommend!"

"Initially, I thought it was fine. However, I was very curious why the contractor would not let me talk to the insurance adjuster. He told me to stay in the house and leave everything to him. (RED FLAG) I'm not sure why I let that happen. After the negotiations and the contract was signed, the contractor advised that he failed to charge me for the cost of the chimney. We specifically talked about the chimney cost and how he wasn't putting it in the contract so it wouldn't alert the insurance company (RED FLAG ) He would just charge me another $1200 for the chimney or not do the inside work. At that point, I should have cancelled the contract. The contractor yelled at me that he forgot and he made a mistake. Yelled at me in a very loud voice. He then did that "used car" sales pitch where he has to go talk to his boss and then comes back and sends me an email that they will fix the chimney for free. I spent about twice what my budget was, and I really am mad at myself for failing to get other estimates. That is on me. The roofers put a new roof on - my old roof was less than 5 years old - not sure if a simple repair would have been okay and left a mess in my yard. There was debris from my gutters and little blue things that they use when they replace a roof. I told the contractor that, and he said "the roofers don't make money if they clean up after the gutters and feel it's not their job". Okay, whose job is it? Who did I pay to do a job? Am i supposed to hire someone else to finish up what the roofers left behind. My pet peeve is when I pay someone to do a job, and they don't finish the job and say it's not their job. That makes me so angry. Again, I'm so mad at myself. I know better. I just felt like at the end of the day I was taken advantage of. I don't think I needed a whole new roof, I spent twice the money I had budgeted, and I had a mess to take care of. I use Angie's List so I can avoid being taken advantage of and considered the "old lady" who doesn't know anything."

"The technician was prompt and professional on resolving my roof issue."

"Both the owner of Guardian Roofing Systems, LLC, Angelo Ristich and his Lead Repairman Hector were professional and very knowledgeable about the task at hand and what needed to be done. They answered my questions and made sure I had full understanding of the whys of the roof replacement. I was quoted a fair price. The job was completed in a timely manner and true to their word, when the next heavy rain high windstorm happened the new roof held up beautifully. The leaks my house was plagued with aren't a problem anymore. For quality service at a fair price I definitely recommend them."

"Dan called yesterday shortly after my initial inquiry. He arrived a little ahead of schedule which was great. He inspected the roof, provided a very reasonable repair estimate, and then completed the work. I would/will recommend High Top Roofing and will use the company to replace the roof completely next spring."

"This was the second time Iâ ve used them. The first was a tear off roof on a high peaked roof. They were fast, great clean up and fantastic to work with. Both jobs were A+, I highly recommend them."

"Robert was a pleasure to work with and gave me a great deal compared to two other competitors. His team did a great job too, against adversity, and finished the job in just two days as promised. First, they discovered that my sheathing was rotting due to high moisture and poor ventilation in the attic of my 26yr old home. They successfully replaced 55 sheets of 1/2" plywood, without hesitation, after my approval, to keep the job on track. Better even yet, they resolved the sources of the moisture and lack of ventilation to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Second, at the start of the 2nd day, their ladder hoist broke down, which I expected to halt work (not getting heavy packages of shingles to the roof). But, instead of a delay, the team members just carried them up the ladder manually to get the job done on time. You don't see that kind of commitment very often in this new world order. I would highly recommend them for your next roofing job. Thank you, R Celeste Construction!"

"Everything worked like clockwork. My contact Bradley was very communicative, available and understanding throughout the entire process, as were the crew, during the job. I was very happy with the process and the work done, and along the way, each step in the process was fully explained to me. I felt listened to and heard - each person I spoke with accurately addressed my thoughts, concerns and needs. I felt everyone involved in my roof repair, from Bradley, to the office personne,l and the roofing foreman and crew, addressed and fully discussed all my questions and needs, quickly and to my 100% satisfaction. I also felt respected and valued as the homeowner. I appreciate the good care and excellent product I received in exchange for this, which is a major expense for a homeowner."
