"Rogers roofing representative Rob B. came to give us an estimate for replacing our roof. He was the 3 third and final roofing sales person we spoke to. While others measured and walked around the roof a little and then gave us a general quote, Rob went into the attic and crawled from one side to the other taking pictures and then went up on the roof, and made a video which explained and documented the damage we had - much of it caused by poor ventilation in the attic. He took the time to explain and show us options for fixing this issue when a new roof was put on. I believe the other companies would have either ignored the ventilation issue, or surprised us with a large up charge after tearing off the shingles. We appreciated Rob’s thorough estimate and the time he took to explain everything. We also appreciate knowing the true cost. First, they discovered that my sheathing was rotting due to high moisture and poor ventilation in the attic of my 26yr old home. They successfully replaced 55 sheets of 1/2" plywood, without hesitation, after my approval, to keep the job on track. Better even yet, they resolved the sources of the moisture and lack of ventilation to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Second, at the start of the 2nd day, their ladder hoist broke down, which I expected to halt work (not getting heavy packages of shingles to the roof). But, instead of a delay, the team members just carried them up the ladder manually to get the job done on time. You don't see that kind of commitment very often in this new world order.
