"We had two plaster (not plasterboard) ceiling patches that needed repair and a plasterboard repair in a bathroom that required removing a toilet and the vanity. The work on all of the plastering repairs was fantastic. They also repainted the bathroom and remounted all of the bathroom fixtures so we didn't have to remove things for painting later. They started the work a week after we requested it and finished in two days. We plan to use them again when we need to minor plaster repair done to our walls."

"Rick called me because he would be late. Not many people call to let you know he would be late. That in itself is high praise. The job was to put up a light fixture in my kitchen above my sink. The fixture was not as big as the one being replaced but Rick worked his magic and I am very pleased with the outcome. He also cleans the mess so everything is spic n span."

"We've worked with MJ on 3 large projects now on a north shore historic home and a condo in River North. The projects included plaster repair, ceiling and wall painting, staining, skim coating a textured plaster room with coved ceilings, highly detailed paint lines on coved ceilings, and placing a satin/mirror finish on coffered ceilings. We'd worked with a number of painters before working with MJ, and his work is unparalleled. His attention to detail is far beyond any contractor we've worked with. His pricing is always fair - we'd received ~15 quotes prior to our initial project with MJ. It is clear that he pursues excellence in his work and believes in executing projects the right way. He's always extremely professional. We are highly particular when it comes to painting and we've always been very happy with the work. I've recommended MJ extensively to others and highly recommend saving yourself the trouble of working with anyone else. MJ can be in high demand, so I recommend planning ahead, though he has been able to fit us in on short notice."
