"In March of â 21, my husband and I finally decided that we reached our limit to looking at our front yard which had become quite unattractive and overgrown from hedge rows planted 19 years ago. Without shape, form and absent of any color, we knew we needed to start over. We called several landscape companies including D&D Landscaping. Dean came out a week later and right away, Rich and I knew that he was the person we wanted to work with. He was straight-forward, extremely fun, very personable, and highly knowledgeable about the business of landscaping. He surveyed the lawn and came up with a plan that at first blush, seemed a bit overcrowded with plantings for the size of the lot. I will add that I know next to nothing about flowers, plants, bushes and the like and my artistic vision does not extend to landscaping. Dean asked us to trust him, and boy, are we glad we did! He had a vision of what our space would look like and he delivered a gorgeous reality, with flowering bushes and two trees in a beautiful design that is perfect for the size of our front yard and will provide ever changing color throughout the year. The work was done in two days. He and his amazing, friendly crew removed the old grass and overgrown bushes in one morning and did all the planting including new sod, accent lighting and underground watering system on day two in under five hours. We are absolutely thrilled! We highly recommend D&D Landscaping! We will be using Dean again for further projects down the road, as we continue to get the pleasure of looking out our window admiring our lawn and enjoying passersby doing the same."

After the installation American National Sprinkler turned our system on in the spring, drained & shut down in the fall, and serviced our system for 30 years. Pricing was always fair. I never felt like they were trying to overcharge. Their service employees were always professional, courteous, and prompt. Customer service was the same and helpful. Our lawn always looked GREAT. "Almanza is the best in the area, I've learned the hard way. Had them as regulars for landscaping a few years back. They were great for the most part - Raul was excellent at doing extra jobs (paving, tree-cutting) fast and prompt at very reasonable prices. The yard looked great. However, when fall cleanup came, the crew left a lot of debris behind. During the summer, they also trimmed stuff I asked them not to trim and didn't trim what I wanted them to. I chalked it up to the crew though. Raul has always been great and I complained to him about it, noting I couldn't renew the contract with the same weekly crew. Not hearing from him about a different crew, I too hastily terminated the contract. BIG mistake. Subsequent lawn care and landscape specialists have been totally abysmal compared. I've learned that the weekly crews of any company are not as honest, hardworking, scrupulous, etc. as the owners but you have to put up with that stuff. It's just part of the game apparently. Looking back, aul's crew wasn't perfect, but they were a lot better than any others I've had. If you have him as a landscaper, keep him. A good dude. I've regretted my action more every year."
