"As a landlord, I’ve had various cleaning services over the years, and L’Abeilles is by far the best. They did a deep cleaning for an apartment that I was renting. It was very dirty, and it looked brand new when they were done! First, Laura came out to give me a quote. Then due to changing circumstances, I had to reschedule a few different times. Laura was always understanding and very accommodating. I also met Diana, one of the cleaning team. Both Laura and Diana were so pleasant. I highly recommend L’Abeilles. They made the place look great, and even more than that, they are kind and helpful people, which I really appreciated"

"You'll do best by calling 6 months prior to needing your job. These guys are so great and so busy that it can be difficult to get an appointment. That said they were meticulous. I've never worked with a company that was so dedicated to doing an unbelievable job. We needed our cedar repainted w mold removed. Tim's hand was like a top surgeon - finding every detail that needed reconstruction. Can't say enough good things about this company - if you can get them for a job - you'll be beyond happy."

"Fantastic John and Jermel were ready to work the next day showed up on time, confirmed their quote based on the picture was accurate, and they quickly demolished the wall while protecting and safely removing the crown molding already there. Made very minimal dust and cleaned everything up afterwards. Would absolutely use again when I need more demo work done, and would definitely recommend to anyone for a quick clean demo job."

Greenhouses and Nurseries questions, answered by experts

In most cases, wait three to five days to repot or relocate a plant from a greenhouse or nursery. That way, your plant has time to recover from any shock during the move and adapt to the conditions in and around your home. Some hearty plants may not need as long, and delicate plants might need several weeks. You should ask the professional at your nursery for a recommended timeline. Consider asking about an initial watering schedule to help stimulate root growth and promote a healthy plant.

Adding burnt charcoal to your garden beds and plant pots can yield several benefits, but there are risks involved, too. Charcoal, particularly biochar, can enhance soil structure, improve water drainage, and increase nutrient retention. When activated, charcoal provides key nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. However, burnt charcoal, especially from briquettes, can inadvertently alter soil's pH levels and become hazardous to plants. Overall, there are better and less risky soil amendments available, such as vermiculite, perlite, or wood chips.

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.

Minor fixes like patching leaks or repainting are DIY-friendly, but structural repairs require professional expertise.

Eco-friendly materials include sustainably-sourced woods, recycled metals, low-VOC paints, and non-toxic sealants, which reduce environmental impact. Using these in repairs promotes sustainability and can improve indoor air quality and overall building health.
