"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. I could see tree roots encroaching on the sump pump and assumed that drain tile was clogged resulting in water pressure strong enough to seep through the joint between the foundation wall and the floor. Tim explained that tree roots should be killed off with copper sulfate and that seepage was likely the result of cracks in the foundation wall that are covered up by the drywall. He said a single leak can appear in multiple locations as it travels along the 2x4's anchored to the floor. We talked about how I could go about finding cracks. He showed me the machine he would use if I decided to have him clear out the drains and warned that the silt and debris may tear up my sump pump. "1960's home. Original copper and cast iron pipes. Well water. There was an extreme Sulfur smell that penetrated the whole system even with single stage carbon filters and a thorough bleaching and flushing of the system. All Affordable installed all new pex supply lines throughout the home, and replaced all the old drainage lines with PVC. There was an immediate improvement in the odor. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. They took precautions due to COVID. They laid tarps down to protect all the flooring, and did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. I was especially impressed by Juan and Cornel. The quote and Initial scheduling went very smoothly. They were prompt, friendly and informative, and completed the work quickly and efficiently. Unfortunately, a couple of the items I had ordered from alternative suppliers were delayed due to COVID, so they had to schedule a time to return after the remaining items were delivered. The scheduling of the follow-up appointment was a bit difficult, and is the only reason I did not give them all 5 stars. I am a DIYer, so I did not have them repair the drywall or finish the entire bath remodel, but I have attached a few pictures anyway. I am a single middle aged woman and I never felt talked down to or taken advantage of. They were wonderful, and I would highly recommend All Affordable Plumbing!"

"I contacted Charlie to install water lines and gas pipes for washer and dryer in a single family home that was in the final process of renovation as a rental. A licensed electrician had brought up the electrical to code, but the contractor, as part of the kitchen remodeling job, had done plumbimg from kitchen to basement. Charlie did an excellent job in installing the water lines, gas pipes and connections for the washer and dryer. He was also very thorough and generous with his time in reviewing the whole house inside-outside plumbing without any expectation of being hired to do additional work. He was very patient in helping me understand technical requirements and what options were available to avoid future problems. Charlie discovered that water lines from the dishwasher and pipes from kitchen to basement had been installed incorrectly. In addition, there were many basement plumbing ?repairs? the previous elderly owner had done that were of a temporary nature and had potential for disaster. Based on my initial experience of Charlie?s performance, I did hire him to update all the kitchen and basement plumbing, install new vanity and fixtures in two bathrooms, clean outside sewer, and other miscellaneous work. He also volunteered work free of charge outside the scope of our agreement, like replacing broken tiles and caulking the bathtub. Charlie?s responsiveness to my scheduling needs and the quality of his finished work were excellent, and his fees were fair considering the work done, the time spent and the good quality. I am confident the plumbing is in order now, and I also know I can count on Charlie for other requirements or for any emergencies 24/7 that may come up in the future."

"We purchased a new home a few months ago, and a lot of things needed to be replaced. On the top of the list for us was the furnace and A/C. We called probably 6-7 different companies to come out and give us estimates, but we were never really thrilled with any of those companies, especially after reading reviews. Skip forward a few weeks, and a check valve on our sump pump went out, so water sprayed all over the closet where the sump pump was kept, on a Saturday. Steve made it out in probably 45 minutes or so, if that, and did a fix. The pump itself was old, and the battery backup was not functional, so I decided to have the whole thing replaced. A few days later, the job was done. I was impressed by Steve, and saw that they did HVAC work, so I decided to have them do an estimate on a new A/C and Furnace. Later the same day, the owner of the company came out and gave us an estimate. There was no pressure whatsoever to make a purchase, the conversation was just matter of fact about what we needed and what we didn't need. We live in a town that technically requires permits to do work like this, but every provider up until TopTec said that we could get away without doing the permits, so why pay the money. TopTec encouraged us to do the permits so we'd have a third party review their work to ensure it was done right for our own peace of mind. This really told me that not only they were confident in their work, but also that what was going to be done would be up to code. I had been toying with getting a new hot water heater based on how old ours was, so we decided to have them do that too. The workers were thoughtful and explained everything in detail. They don't subcontract. If you are looking for the absolute cheapest provider, these guys probably aren't for you. But, if you want the job done right, thoroughly, and with high end products, this guys are the route you want to go. It's so hard to find providers you can trust, but I really feel like they earn the high review scores they got if you do your research. I'll definitely have more work for them in the future."

"Daniel and co. did a very thorough job and informed me of what they were doing throughout the process. He was familiar with the flood control system a previous owner installed so he was able to identify the problem(s) quickly and get them fixed. He was straightforward and always quite open about the cost. We're kind of going to have to wait until the next big precipitation event to make sure the flood system is working again but at least there's no more water in our basement!"
