"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"Maya construction gets my unqualified best and highest recommendation. We are a legal services firm located in the Loop. We hired Maya Construction to build some custom cubicles for us. From initial phone call to final payment the relationship was professional, positive, and productive. The project moved along fast and flawlessly. Udi Yeger and his team worked effectively with the building engineer and staff and moved in and out of the construction site creating virtually no disruption to the building’s operations or to ours. Each day I prepared staff for the noise, dust and confusion I expected we would experience and each day we were all very pleasantly surprised. "This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"Appliance Repair M.D. deserves 5+ stars! My Electrolux clothes washer was leaking through the front loading door and even more so from beneath the machine and puddling. I called several appliance repair services, some were booked for weeks, others did not even return my calls/texts. A trusted friend recommended this Company, I found them getting top reviews on Angi, so I reached out. Robert responded immediately and was able to come over the very next day at a time convenient for me. He and his tech associate diagnosed the leaking problem, found another malfunctioning part and showed me the damaged condition of that part when they had lifted the lid off the washer, offered to access the parts needed for repair and return to replace them the same afternoon. So efficient in both time and the fair price for parts and labor. Before leaving, they took the time to "educate" me on proper use and maintenance of the washer - less soap, settings, leaving both soap dispenser drawer and washer door open to dry after use. I confidently recommended Appliance Repair M.D. to my condo neighbors leaving their business cards in our lobby."

"The company closed this time last year, but the owner stepped up and did what needed to be done to assist with closing out the rest of the project. Eric Udelhoven is an honest, stand up person that goes above and beyond. It is super unfortunate that the circumstances happened the way that they did with Catalyst, but Eric Udelhoven pushed go get subs into our job, help us with material procurement, and oversee the project on a high level. Even after the business had closed, he helped my wife and i finish the project and didn't charge us for his time. The way it all went down could have been a lot better with respect to the business closing, but we reached out and made contact shortly after everything had gone sideways for them. Ultimately, the process was obviously super bumpy, but we were able to get our first floor renovation finished to a high level of finish with Eric's assistance. I am SUPER happy that i dont have to do any more home repairs in the near future!!! House looks great, but remodeling is super stressful!"
