It was an awful experience and I feel my mother was taken advantage of. While the movers were nice & courteous, they didn't take any of the furniture that my mom wanted to make sure actually got moved. Because it is only me & her, she wanted the important and heavy stuff moved first. That didn't happen as almost everything that went was mostly boxes. As far as the quoted amount, that was not even close to what she was charged at the end. She told them exactly what she had, how many rooms and what types of items were to go. She was quoted $279 an hour for 3 guys and was told it would take 3 hours. Not even close. It took almost 7½ and she was charged almost $1400, which has left her with nothing and furniture still to move. They came recommended from a good friend and nothing was done. I absolutely would never recommend or use them again.

I reviewed the paperwork and found that there was a 4 person crew at $279 plus the standard truck and travel fee. We estimated the job at 3 hours and I found that the job took 4 hours. We always do our best to estimate as accurately as possible but it is a rough science over the phone. Generally it is not uncommon to be about an hour off. I apologize if there was a misunderstanding around pricing, we were able to squeeze your mom into the schedule last minute, perhaps finding availability was a main concern during the conversation and there should’ve been a more thorough discussion around price. Unfortunately because it’s been some weeks now, the crew can’t remember the details of the move but I would like to learn more about your job not getting completed as some furniture was apparently left behind according to your review. We moved on New Year's Eve morning and it went very well. The movers called ahead of time, were overly accommodating, offered great suggestions, and were professional. I would recommend them and use them again.

Fantastic move: great price, excellent customer service, they were punctual, and didn’t waste any time getting the job done. My movers were Joe and Jeff . They were exceptional. Kevin the owner , clarified and confirmed what I needed done and the cost. He contacted me twice to confirm my move date and any changes in items to be moved. I would use them again and will refer them to friends and family

Travis and John were fantastic. I can't say enough good things about them. Professional, polite, and very fast. I moved to a 2nd floor with some very heavy stuff, but they kicked a**. Thanks again guys I will definitely recommend and be a repeat customer.

Melendez Moving is truly amazing! They moved us to the 3rd floor of an apartment, with no elevator! This is my third time using them and I can not recommend them enough. Insanely hard working and kind people! Grateful to have found them and will never use another moving service.

They were at all careful with my items. They ruined my brand new bed frame - upholstery was torn on one side. They lost my best bed comforter as well (how does that happen)? When I called to ask about the missing comforter they told me I was crazy. Was my fault. I do NOT recommend this company

Very well! I was surprised at how much care was given to wrap the piano! I thought it was going to be quick, but the movers took a lot of time to make sure the piano was very protected even though it was only a 10-minute drive between locations.

I had purchased furniture at an estate sale on Sunday and was required to have the furniture picked up the following day. I made the moving request at 8:30p.m. on Sunday. Melendez Brothers movers responded within 15 minutes via email/text. I rec'd an estimate along with packing procedures that they would be using. After going to the U-Haul site and putting in the cost of the truck, the movers (stairs & transportation) I accepted the offer from Melendez Brothers the following morning. Melendez Brothers offer was cheaper than U-Haul and other movers. The movers were waiting for me when I arrived at the pick-up location. They unassembled and wrapped my valuable walnut dining room set (4 large pieces + 6 chairs) in moving blankets. After reassembling my furniture at my house they happily moved 2 couches and a credenza into my garage. This was the first time I have ever used a mover and because of the professional and affordable service provided by Melendez Brothers I will use their services for all my future moving needs. Melendez Bothers movers provide prompt. professional and affordable service!

Kevin and his crew were fantastic! I was dreading moving a full house of items to another but these guys made it easy. They asked questions to verify everything was executed 100%. They were friendly and professional. He and his crew worked fast and efficiently. They helped more than expected with unloading so when they left it was easy to unpack and all items were exactly where I wanted them. I had to change the date, time and other logistics a few times before the move and Kevin was always accommodating. I strongly recommend them!

The owner was very nice and responsive during the quoting process. They were late but communicated they would be late. The 2 movers that arrived had a different quote than what was discussed over the phone including commute fee for before and after never discussed till they were there. They did work hard and efficient. I did t like my girlfriends daughters called “hun” by the movers. Otherwise in the the process was completed. I don’t move often so I don’t know if this is normal service but I guess I expected more.

I was very impressed with Kevin's responsiveness. He replied to my initial service request at 8.30p and we had it all locked in before 9p. He was very professional and made sure all my questions were answered. He made sure to arrive early enough to get the full packing done in time to make the elevator reservation work on both ends. His crew was extremely polite and prompt. How they got the sofa out and back into the new condo without a hack saw was nothing short of miraculous. Initial quote was about half of the final bill but they wound up being on par with other quotes in the end. And really, after what they were asked to do, it was worth every penny. Excellent service in every respect.

A very reasonable price was immediately given based on hearing the details of what we needed. Bids from competitors came back with a prescribed amount and a minimum charge that exceeded what we needed. We negotiated a date and time based on what worked for both parties. They did a great job.

Kevin and his crew arrived punctually and moved my 2 bedroom apartment from Chicago to St Pete Fla. All items were moved with care, nothing was damaged or even scratched. We love this company. They are beyond accommodating and honest. We started with a move to our home and placed several items in the garage. They came back and finished weeks later. Moved gym equipment from one house to another. Had them install throw rugs moving the furniture out for proper placement. They’ve been our “go to guys” and have made an impossible move possible. They are the best.. hire them with confidence you’ll never over- pay and they’ll do a great job.
