Best door pros near Chicago, IL

"They did a fantastic job. The door had settled a bit, so they had to MacGyver it a little to get it to work, but they fixed it!"

"Dropped the door off and picked it up in a few days. Done to my satisfaction."

"They replaced the paneling between the floor and wall very quickly a bought the part for it. They fixed my closet doors very quickly. They initially quoted me a higher price for the closet door repair of $450. They countered down to $350 and ultimately negotiated down to $180."

"Excellent. Kevin figured out the problem with the sliding patio door quickly considering you couldn't visually see the Christmas Decoration that somehow got trapped under the sliding door. He also fixed a crooked sliding closet door and rubber weatherstripping on an interior garage door. He was fantastic and will use him again. No doubt!"

"Great job replacing my door. Project was completed on time with no issues. Thank you"

"Excellent work! I had a garden entry door that had shifted in the frame after I had brick work done overhead. The door was sticking at the top on the latch side requiring a lot of force to open and close. Abraham removed the door and shaved down the hinge side at the top and middle to even out the door so that it smoothy opened and closed on the latch side. He took the initiative to touch up the work area with white paint for a clean finish before I had to ask. Abraham also installed a new lock on another door, which required him to shave out the latch frame to be flush. Would highly recommend."

"Taseer arrived on time ready for the job. He consulted on placement of bars and discussed the pros and cons. Taseer replaced a light fixture and, again, confirmed a placement that worked well in a small powder room. Would work with him again."

"Lucky Gorman fixed the Closet Folding Door that broke. All other Contractors said that the doors will have to be replaced, Gormans company fixed the original doors to their original state, The work done was excellent and doors were restored to the original state. The work was done in very short time and with utmost care, great skill, and excellent craftmanship. They were very careful and respectful of the property. Also, the work was very clean with no mess either during the process or after they left, I would recommend Lucky Gormans Company to anyone needs Handyman Service."

"We recently hired K, B&D Remodeling, LLC for a bathroom & kitchen remodel. While 4 others gave quick, impersonal quotes, Juan took the time to listen to our ideas and needs, offering thoughtful suggestions & explaining his recommendations clearly. His insights helped us make informed decisions, especially about details that did not occur to us. He was never pushy, allowing us to make the final choices while guiding us with his expertise. The project involved replacing a hole in the wall, installing a recessed mirror that didn’t previously exist, new lighting, adding a glass doors to our existing bathtub, painting & installing kitchen backsplash. From start to finish, Juan and his team demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship & attention to detail. He is professional, meticulous, and respectful of our home. He was incredibly patient & responsive, answering all of our questions with kindness & care. All for an affordable cost too. We HIGHLY recommend them for any home project."
