First came and power washed everything a few days before, then on first day of painting removed all old caulk and re-caulked, plus filled any holes. Original quote did not include foundation, soffit, gutters, front and rear stairs but Jose added those in at a reasonable price, so had those done too. Also painted chimney at no extra charge, On top of all this they completed the job in 2 days. "In completing the siding, repair and restoration of my 1897 Frame 2- flat Fortune Restoration exceeded my expectations. Their carpenters and painters are consulate professionals. Pete, Dan and Jose were a pleasure to work with. My building is not only historically accurate in the materials used but it virtually matches photos and drawings from old house books I used as a reference. This wall was stripped of all siding and trim - all that was left was the framing wood. The final product included re-siding the front wall with cedar (shakes and clapboard, window trim, repairing columns and rebuilding a balcony and porch. Finally painting decking, foundation, siding and trim in historical colors matching a historic photo I provided."

Let this dry out over the weekend and came back on Monday to apply the water based varnish. No bad fumes and a wonderful touch up job with the paint around the wood.
