"I had rainwater coming in through a door and window frame. Dario and Juan knew right away that the problem was coming from where my deck meets the siding. They removed deck boards to discover a gap in the siding. Checked for water damage (thankfully no damage). Sealed the gap. I have not had any rainwater issues since. Price was totally reasonable. "I've used Fortune Restoration in the past when I managed condominium buildings. After seeing the cedar siding work they did on a friend's house I decided to call Tom Fortune for my own residence. Tom took the time to listen and called his lead carpenter to discuss the various siding and trim options. He was able to write the estimate on the spot. They started quickly and there were no delays once they began. Their crews were communicative and professional. Tom also stopped by regularly to inspect the workmanship and make sure I was satisfied. Fortune removed the existing metal siding on the house, replaced the soffit and fascia with PVC which was quite labor intensive, sided the gable ends and small front dormer with cedar, stained the new cedar, and painted all the new trim and exterior windows. They left the area in very good condition. I'm very pleased with their responsiveness and quality of the work and recommend them without reservation."

"They started the work and did it really good for the first two days, but the third  and fourth day it seems to me that they were running out of time and were working in a rush, so the work in the third floor was not the same quality than the first and second floor the first two days: a clean, careful and nice painting. I can not say the same about the painting in the third floor: too many details, a lamp hanging in the bathroom, power and light switches painted (which means they did not take them out), my wood floor splattered with paint. Maybe they estimated wrongly the time they needed  to have all the house painting. Other than that, they did a good job.
