We had to throw out the padding but managed to save the carpet. Larry responded so quickly and was so easy to work with. He stopped by the house the same day I called him and took measurements to replace the carpet padding. A couple days later he sent out a very friendly and hardworking crew to replace the padding and lay our old carpet on top. It looks and feels brand new. I am so pleased that he was so promp to help. I feel like he was so fair in his pricing and that he wasn't pushy to sell me things I didn't need. The other carpet companies I called would only do the job if I bought new carpet (which I didn't need) or had a high minimum job payment. Larry saw that we really needed our basement back to working order and quickly helped us get that back. I am very satisfied and grateful!"

"The team from Modern Quality Flooring excelled at every step of the process of redoing nearly every floor in our new house. We redid our entire first floor of hardwood and our entire basement with new vinyl lux flooring. We discovered some bumps in the road - upon removing some rugs, some very large plywood patches showed up. The basement floor, once the carpet came up proved to be less than level and the stairs needed to be patched up. Everything was done so well that it's hard to imagine it's the same house. The flooring work they did was transformational. Despite the complicated and numerous hardwood patches in several rooms, you can't tell they're not the original floors. The workmanship is flawless. "After purchasing our home, my wife and I decided to have maple wood floors installed in the bedrooms to match the rest of the house. We received three bids in an effort to keep everyone honest. Ismael was referred to us by our neighbor. From the beginning of the process, he was my favorite. He has a great personality but more importantly, he was the most knowledgeable and based on his assessment, I was confident he would produce the best work product. He actually predicted how the bidding process would play out. "I come out and give the estimate and I install the floors. They have a guy who will come out and estimate and someone else to install the floors. There will be miscommunication and problems with that. With me, no problems." Ismael could not have been more accurate. It was really frustrating and time consuming dealing with the other vendors just to obtain their bids! We paid a little more to work with Ismael but it was money well spent. My rationale was the benefit of paying a skilled craftsman to do the work correctly outweighed my time having to correct potential mishaps. We had such a great experience. Ismael and his crew were punctual, on budget and finished exactly when they said they would. They also revealed amazing attention to details--they identified and corrected a creek in a section of the floor and a stain that could not be sanded so they replaced that section of the floor. "We had a floor leveling issue in which a room was part tile over cement and part carpet over hardwood, with the tiled part being higher than the carpeted part. We wanted to remove the tile, level the entire floor, and have hard wood flooring throughout the room. This was a challenge for the other contractors and flooring people who came out to give estimates. However, Mike of Mike’s flooring came out and immediately knew how to implement a plan of action. Mike’s team responded quickly and finished the job in a timely manner. They were pleasant and respectful, took care to limit the dust, and cleaned up after themselves. The installer was terrific. He got there right on time and took out the old carpeting and hauled it away and then installed the new carpet in two hours.It looks beautiful.
